SERVICE KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES: Compassion Beyond Walls 💜

In celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month, the Alpha Phi Omega – Delta Phi Chapter, together with the Delta Phi Alumni Association, successfully conducted an outreach activity at the Tacloban City Jail Female Dormitory through the distribution of health kits, hygiene kits, food packs, and meals, we were able to share not just resources, but care and compassion.

A meaningful talk was also given by Bro. Atty. Paul Torres on “Dignity Beyond Bars: Understanding the Rights of Women Deprived of Liberty (WDL) in the Philippines” reminding us that every woman regardless of circumstance, deserves dignity, respect, and hope.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to BJMPRO-VIII, under the leadership of Bro. JSSUPT Rill Fabella Sonon, DSC, JD, Regional Director, SJO4 Judith B. Balanay, Acting City Jail Warden and SJO2 Chona G Tragura for allowing us to conduct this meaningful service.

This initiative aimed to support female students by providing essential hygiene items while promoting awareness, dignity, and care for women’s health. The activity was made possible through the collective efforts and dedication of our members, reflecting our unwavering commitment to service.

💙💛 After-Service Highlights – February 24, 2026 💙💛

In celebration of the 119th Founding Anniversary of Eastern Visayas State University – Main Campus, Alpha Phi Omega – Delta Phi Chapter proudly conducted an after-service activity to share joy and support within our campus community.

We distributed FREE iced coffee ☕, FREE sandwiches 🥪, and FREE juice 🧃 to students and staff, and we also held a turnover of wall clocks donated by our chapter to every school in EVSU Main Campus—a simple gift to serve and assist our academic community.

In line with the celebration of our 50th Golden Anniversary of Service, the Alpha Phi Omega – Delta Phi Chapter successfully conducted meaningful outreach activities on February 13, 2026.
A wall clock donation was turned over to Eastern Visayas State University – Main Campus, followed by a library clean-up drive to help create a better learning environment for students.
