Praise God for the GBBC Mission Trip last November 20 and 21, in Baybay City, Leyte. The students were able to visit two (2) Baptist churches in the city—Bible Baptist Church Caridad and Baptist Bible Church Baybay. The graduating students were also given the privilege to ask questions and learn from the pastors. Their testimonies encouraged the students to be steadfast in the work of the Lord.

It was also a wonderful blessing for the Bible students to enjoy sweet fellowship with one another, strengthening each other in the faith. Through this mission trip, the students were given the privilege to grow deeper in the Lord, gain new spiritual insights, and be encouraged to continue serving Him faithfully. Truly, God uses ordinary people to carry out His extraordinary plans. To Him be all the glory! 🤍🙏

“𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐆𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦” was this year’s theme, taken from Jonah 3:2—a powerful reminder of the Great Commission God has given to His people. The same call God gave Jonah is the same call He gives us today.

It was a special Sunday as our Bible College students took the lead in every part of the service—from the music, to the teaching, to the preaching of God’s Word. Their hearts, passion, and willingness to serve made the day even more meaningful.

Praise the Lord for these students who have surrendered their lives to Him and are now being trained in Bible school to become future ministers and leaders.

May this Sunday also stir our hearts to faithfully arise, go, and proclaim the message God has entrusted to us.

Praise be to God for the Victorious GBBC One Day League!

What a refreshing experience it was as the GBBC students conducted the One Day League last October 20! The event was filled with excitement and friendly competition as participants from different churches came together for a wonderful time of recreation and fellowship.
Before the enjoyable games began, a devotion from Galatians 5:22–23 (The Fruit of the Spirit) was shared by Ptr. Timothy John Bañez. Afterwards, the participants were divided into their respective teams: Team Joy, Team Peace, Team Love, and Team Faith.

The morning session was thrilling as the teams competed in various parlor games, each doing an excellent job. After a quick lunch break, the activity resumed in the afternoon with ball games. Every team showed great enthusiasm as they demonstrated their skills in volleyball and basketball. The loud cheers surely fueled their determination to win. Yet, the most important lesson they learned was to examine themselves to see if they truly possessed the “Fruit of the Spirit” in their lives. Truly, God used this event to draw His people closer to Him and to deepen their understanding of His Word.

As the event concluded, the participants were recognized for their teamwork and sportsmanship:
1st – Team Joy
2nd – Team Love
3rd – Team Faith
4th – Team Peace

With that, the Bible students joyfully wrapped up the One Day League with hearts filled with happiness and fulfillment. To God be all the glory and praise!

Praise the Lord for teachers who lead us not just in knowledge, but closer to Christ! 🙌📖

This Teacher’s Day, the Bible college surprised our beloved teachers with a simple yet heartfelt celebration—a way to say thank you for their unwavering dedication and Christlike example. 💛

The program began with joyful singing, followed by touching student messages, a fun twist of awarding them for a change, thoughtful tokens for their office, and a beautiful poem that echoed our gratitude.

Our teachers don’t just teach from textbooks—they shape lives, stir hearts, and help us grow in faith.

Let’s not wait for a special day to thank them. Every day is a gift to show appreciation for their commitment, compassion, and calling.

To our Teachers,

You don’t just teach, you shape our days,
With truth and love, in godly ways.
You speak the Word, both firm and kind,
With hearts that serve and minds aligned.

You cheer us on when we feel low,
You plant the seeds, then help us grow.
You lift us up when we’re unsure,
You point us to what’s true and pure.

You gently nudge, sometimes rebuke,
To help us walk the narrow route.
With every lesson, every prayer,
You show us Christ; you're always there.

You teach the Word with fire,
You stir our hearts with deep desire—
To serve the Lord, to stand up strong,
To love what's right, reject what's wrong.

When we fall short or lose our way,
You guide us back, and you help us pray.
Not with pride, but grace and care,
You're living proof that Christ is there.

Through every test and every trial,
You walk with us that extra mile.
You don’t just say what we should do,
You live it out, and we see Him in you.

So thank you now, with joy we say,
You've shaped tomorrow by teaching today.
Your work’s not small; it’s heaven-sent.
You’ve trained us well, and we're being sent.

What a blessed day it has been for the Bible students as they hosted their very first event of the year. 🎬✨ People from different churches came to show their love and support as they watched a thought-provoking and emotionally challenging film entitled Disciples in the Moonlight. The auditorium was full, and so were our hearts. ❤️

Truly, this event would not have been possible without the effort, support, and cooperation of everyone who was involved. Thank you to all who took part! Above all, all glory and honor belong to God alone! 🙏🙌

After the busy days of midterms and the thrill of Sportsfest, the students finally got the break they had been waiting for. Their getaway to Marabut, Samar was the perfect chance to slow down—swimming in the clear waters, sharing good food, laughing together, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was a refreshing time to relax, recharge, and make new memories outside the classroom.

Most of all, everyone was grateful to the Lord for the blessing of fellowship and the gift of time well spent. Beyond the exams and the games, it’s these moments of friendship and shared joy that remind us of God’s goodness in every season.

Grace Baptist Bible College held its Sportsfest! The activity began with a devotion, setting the hearts and minds on the Lord to spiritually prepare the students for both the games and the fellowship ahead.
The sports played were basketball, volleyball, and chess, as the three groups enjoyed the friendly competition that fostered teamwork, sportsmanship, and most especially, fellowship in Christ through sports.
The whole event was a meaningful time of enjoyment and encouragement shared among the students. All glory and praise be to the Lord for the strength, unity, and joy throughout the event!
