📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: HALF-DAY CLASSES ON MONDAY Sept. 28, 2026 (next Monday)

Please be informed that classes will be held for half a day on Monday, September 28, 2026.

Malacañang has ordered the suspension of work in government offices starting at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 28, to give government employees time to observe the 34th National Family Week with their families.

The suspension is intended to provide government workers an opportunity to spend time with their families and participate in activities promoting family unity.

Following Memorandum Circular No. 133 issued by the Office of the President, all government offices in Kalinga will implement Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA) on September 1, 2026 due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Essential agencies, including those providing health, basic, disaster response, and other vital services, will continue operations.

Schools in both the public and private sectors will likewise implement Alternative Learning Modes (ALM) and learning continuity measures.

For the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Kick-off Activities, including the Walk for Health and Opening of the Governor’s Cup, originally set for September 1, are MOVED TO SEPTEMBER 3, 2026.

All concerned local government offices and institutions are advised to ensure the immediate implementation and dissemination of the directive.
