A Legacy That Must Not Be Forgotten

From the mountains of the Cordilleras to the ancestral domains of Mindanao, Indigenous Peoples continue to carry generations of knowledge, traditions, and stories that have shaped the cultural landscape of the Philippines.

This International Day of the Worldโ€™s Indigenous Peoples serves as both a celebration and a call to action: to protect ancestral lands, preserve cultural identity, respect Indigenous knowledge, and ensure that Indigenous communities have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their lives.

Their heritage is not merely a chapter in Philippine history it remains a living part of the nation.

Happy International Day of the Worlds Indigenous People
