𝐊𝐒𝐔-𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬

Kalinga State University, College of Law brought runners and supporters together through the KSU-CLAW Bar Operations 2026 Color Fun Run on August 21, 2026, turning every step into a show of encouragement for KSU Bar examinees.

Initiated by the College of Law, the activity welcomed individuals who shared in its purpose of supporting aspiring lawyers as they prepare for one of the most important step of their legal journey. More than a fun and colorful run, the event reflected the spirit of solidarity, hope, and collective encouragement behind the University’s Bar examinees.

With every stride, participants showed that support can take many forms, and sometimes, it starts with simply running together toward a shared goal.

Kalinga State University was recognized with the Delivering Results through Integrity and Value-Driven Ex*****on (DRIVE) Award during the Agency Performance Review (APR) Mid-Year Dialogue hosted by the Department of Budget and Management–Cordillera Administrative Region (DBM-CAR) today, August 20, at the DBM-ROCAR Multi-Purpose Hall, Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City.

The APR Mid-Year Dialogue brought together representatives from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across the Cordillera Administrative Region, the Commission on Higher Education–Regional Office CAR (CHED-ROCAR), and DBM-CAR to review institutional performance, assess progress against approved targets, and promote more effective budget utilization and program implementation.

KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, together with Budget Officer Ms. Elsie Andres and Planning Director Dr. Rhonjhon Garming, received the award on behalf of the University. The KSU delegation also actively participated in the mid-year performance dialogue.

The DRIVE Award recognizes KSU’s strong performance in the implementation of priority programs and projects, particularly as demonstrated by its actual physical accomplishments relative to approved annual targets.

The recognition underscores the University’s commitment to results-based governance, efficient resource utilization, integrity, and value-driven ex*****on, ensuring that its programs and projects generate measurable accomplishments and meaningful outcomes for its stakeholders.

The award further affirms KSU’s continuing efforts to strengthen institutional performance and accountability while ensuring that public resources are translated into tangible results that contribute to the University’s mandate and development goals.

Through the DRIVE Award, KSU reinforces its commitment to delivering programs and services with integrity, efficiency, and a clear focus on results.

Kalinga State University reaffirmed its commitment to advancing an inclusive, technology-enabled, and innovation-driven MSME ecosystem during the Kapihan sa Kalinga and Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) Signing Ceremony, featuring the Provincial MSME Development Council (PMSMEDC), held on August 18, 2026. The activity brought together government agencies, financial institutions, training and development organizations, industry representatives, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to discuss coordinated strategies for strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises in the province.
