But before you claim the championship title… 𝙈𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝙎𝙐𝙍𝙀 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙏𝙀𝘼𝙈 𝙄𝙎 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙄𝙀𝘿! 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙄𝘽𝙄𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝘿𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙇𝙎 𝘽𝙀𝙇𝙊𝙒 and check if your cooperative meets all the requirements.

𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙄𝘽𝙄𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙎
• The Quiz Bee is open to all duly registered and recognized cooperatives operating within the City, regardless of assets, operational category, or type of cooperative, with an updated Certificate of Compliance (COC) for FY 2025 and/or FY 2026.
• Participants must not have been part of the Top 3 winning teams/contestants in the previous years’ Cooperative Quiz Bee competition. Likewise, previous Top 3 winners who are currently serving as part-time staff of another cooperative shall be disqualified from participating in the competition.
• Each participating cooperative shall be represented by management staffs who are actively involved in the cooperative’s operations. Each cooperative shall preferably be represented by one (1) Manager or Authorized Representative as contestant, accompanied by one (1) Bookkeeper or other qualified staff member.
• Participants must be officially endorsed by their respective cooperatives and must submit the required registration or confirmation prior to the competition.
• Each participating cooperative must have exactly two (2) officially registered participants. Only the two (2) participants registered and endorsed by the cooperative shall be recognized as the official team during the competition. Individual participant to represent during the competition shall not be allowed to participate in the competition.

𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙁𝙄𝘾 𝙍𝙐𝙇𝙀𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙈𝙀𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙄𝘾𝙎
A. Coverage, Question Format and Categories
All questions shall focus on cooperative-related topics, particularly:
1. Republic Act No. 9520, otherwise known as the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations;
2. Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Memorandum Circulars and other issuances issued from 2025 to the present;
3. Republic Act No. 11535, or the law making the position of a Cooperative Development Officer mandatory at the municipal, city, and provincial levels;
4. Republic Act No. 11765, otherwise known as the Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act;
5. Other applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and government issuances affecting cooperatives;
6. Relevant programs, projects, policies, and issuances of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and other national government agencies;
7. Relevant local ordinances, executive orders, resolutions, policies, and other local issuances related to cooperatives;

𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙂𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉
The contestants with the highest cumulative scores across all three (3) rounds shall be declared the Champion, 1st Placer, and 2nd Placer, respectively. The following awards shall be given:
• Champion-10,000.00
• 1st Runner-Up-8,000.00
• 2nd Runner-Up-6,000.00
• Consolation/Participation Awards
