A heartfelt thank you to Ms. AppleAnne Michelle Balnao Bartolome Apl D Apz for donating a collection of preloved books to the STCI Library on June 1, 2026.
The donation includes Christian literature, Mathematics, Nursing, and other academic resources that will surely benefit our students and library users. We are especially grateful that she personally visited the library to hand over these valuable materials.
The Christian books are a meaningful addition to our collection, providing resources that support spiritual growth, strengthen faith, and encourage Christian values among our readers. Together with the academic materials, these books will help enrich learning, nurture character, and serve as valuable resources for both intellectual and spiritual development within our academic community.
May these books continue to inspire a love for learning, deepen faith, and contribute to the holistic formation of our students and readers for years to come.

TABUK CITY, Kalinga โ Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) has once again gained international recognition in the ๐๐๐๐ World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), highlighting the impact of its Lunchtime Storytelling Activity, a regular program of the Library Services Department since 2006.
The initiative, featured in โFrom Loitering to Legacy: Pioneering a Low-Cost, High-Impact Framework for Rural Academic Enrichment,โ ranked ๐๐๐ง๐ in the Cost-Benefit Management category, following its ๐๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐ (๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐) finish in ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ under the B2: Empowerment-Based Management category.
It is one of three STCI entries recognized this year, alongside the 74th-ranked Project K.A.L.I.N.G.A. (SDG/ESG category) and the 90th-ranked Financial Impact-Driven Technology Transfer.
The Library Services Department expresses its sincere appreciation to everyone behind the storytelling project, especially the storytellers, as well as to the STCI WURI 2026 team for their commendable work.
The repeat recognition underscores how a long-running, low-cost library initiative can deliver sustained global impact.

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) Library officially received copies of the CSU Research Journal from Cagayan State University Library- Andrews Campus as part of the Exchange Journal Activity.
In return, STCI also shared its Institutional Research and Development Journal with CSU, in collaboration with the STCI Research Department under the leadership of Dr. Calixto Alicay, PhD.
This initiative strengthens our commitment to knowledge-sharing and expands access to valuable research resources for our academic community. In addition to the print copies received, the latest editions of CSU journals are also available online and readily accessible.
This milestone was made possible under the leadership of STCI President, Dr. Kathleen Guimbatan, Ed.D, and through the initiative of the Library Services Department, headed by the Director of Libraries, Ms. Divine Lovelle B. Liclic.
We look forward to more meaningful collaborations that support academic excellence and research development.

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) Library officially shared a copy of the STCI Research and Development Journal with Kalinga State University.
Through the leadership of STCI President, Dr. Kathleen L. Guimbatan, and in coordination with the Office of Research led by Dr. Calixto Alicay, the journal was personally delivered today, April 16, 2026, at KSU Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga, by Dr. Rosiebille C. Galban, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Divine Lovelle B. Liclic, Director of Libraries; and Ms. Gerlyn G. Quiรฑones, Library Staff.
This initial activity marks the beginning of this kind of collaboration between the two libraries, highlighted by the presence of STCI representatives during the first journal delivery. University Librarian Ms. Frances Ann A. Barcellano and other KSU Library staff warmly received the team.
This initiative underscores the vital role of libraries in strengthening academic linkages between institutions by serving as hubs for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and collaborative engagement.

MARCH HIGHLIGHTS!
Library Supports Institutional Certification and Accreditation Activities
The Library Services Department actively participated in two important academic quality assurance activities this March, highlighting the libraryโs essential role in supporting the institutionโs academic programs.
On March 2, 2026, the library took part in the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) certification process for the Elementary Program. The evaluation emphasized the importance of library resources, as well as library activities and programs that support teaching and learning.
From March 9โ13, 2026, the library also participated in the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities โ Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI) accreditation for the Kindergarten and Tertiary Programs, including BSEd, BEEd, BSN, and BSHM.
These engagements underscore the significance of the library as a vital academic support unit that provides resources, services, and programs contributing to the institutionโs pursuit of quality education and academic excellence.

FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS
The College Library participated in the RQUAT evaluations for the BS Social Work and BS Criminology programs, where the library was found compliant with all necessary requirements and standards. This reflects our continued commitment to quality service, updated resources, and academic excellence.
The department also joined the 52nd Founding Anniversary of STCI, celebrating more than five decades of dedication to transformative education.
STCI-LSD remains steadfast in supporting the institutionโs mission through strengthened library services and continuous improvement.
