ISAP-K School Leaders Renew Their Commitment: Leading with Purpose, United in Service
The International School of Asia and the Pacific–Kalinga (ISAP-K) strengthened its commitment to purposeful and transformative leadership through the Indoctrination and Expectations-Setting for School Leaders for School Year 2026–2027, held on August 18, 2026, and spearheaded by Mr. Ferdinand Roberedo, CHRA, Human Resource Management Officer.
The gathering transcended the setting of expectations. It was a renewal of commitment- a reminder that leadership is not measured by position or title, but by the courage to serve, the humility to collaborate, and the integrity to lead with purpose.
Dr. Ericson R. Mallari, School Administrator, set the tone by emphasizing that unity and collaboration are essential to building a strong and progressive institution. His message underscored a simple yet powerful truth: when leaders work together, the entire institution moves forward as one.
Adding to this call for collective excellence, Engr. Goldenrod Marie Odiem, Director for Administration, and Dr. Leverrier Arellano, Director for Academics, presented the expectations of their respective units. They emphasized that institutional excellence is a shared responsibility built on discipline, accountability, teamwork, and commitment.
The program also featured the Stewardship Statement led by Ms. Angelu Gratueto, Quality Assurance In-Charge, calling leaders to embrace responsible and accountable service. Messages from Ms. Crystal Sappa, representing the Administrative Unit, and Mr. Joshua Tovera, representing the Academic Department, further affirmed the commitment of their respective units to the institution’s vision.
The heart of the gathering was the Indoctrination led by Dr. Christian R. Guzman, School President, who emphasized leadership anchored in unity, collaboration, and service. He reminded school leaders that meaningful leadership begins with the willingness to look beyond personal interests and work toward a purpose greater than oneself.
As the new academic year unfolds, this commitment serves as a guiding principle for every ISAP-K leader: to lead not for recognition, but for impact; not merely to manage, but to inspire; and not simply to serve, but to make a difference.
With one vision and one purpose, ISAP-K’s leaders move forward together ready to inspire, serve, and create a meaningful legacy in the lives of every student and every member of the institution.
