A Day of Unity: Honoring Teachers and Indigenous Roots
Namnama Elementary School hosted a fantastic joint celebration for Indigenous Peoples’ Day and World Teachers’ Day on October 17th. The event brought together students, teachers, parents, and community members for a truly meaningful and festive gathering.
Keeping the program running smoothly were our excellent student emcees, Marie Claire A. Mancenido (Grade 5) and Alishanee S. Lo-oy (Grade 6).
Our main guest, Ms. Reynalda Bulanguit (a beloved retired teacher from Namnama ES), stressed the importance of appreciating indigenous culture through hands-on experiences. She reminded everyone that the best way to truly value our heritage is to live it—by listening to stories, practicing traditions, and engaging actively with the community.
A major highlight was the induction of new leaders for key school organizations, including the General Parents and Teachers Association (GPTA), School Governing Council (SGC), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), and the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG). Sir Ramonchito A. Soriano, CID Chief from the Schools Division Office of Tabuk City, led the ceremony and encouraged the inductees to serve their school with commitment and integrity.
To wrap up the fun, students participated in engaging Indigenous parlor games. The school grounds were filled with laughter as learners played, bonded, and learned more about their cultural traditions.
It was a beautiful day of unity and appreciation, honoring both our dedicated teachers and our rich indigenous roots.

The event saw a strong turnout from parents, teachers, student leaders, and stakeholders, all unified in their commitment to building more inclusive and compassionate learning environments for every child.

Namnama Elementary School Intramurals 2025: A Day of Sportsmanship & Fun! 🏫🎉
On September 12, 2025, our school grounds were buzzing with energy for the much-awaited School Intramurals 2025! With the theme "Upholding Team Spirit and Unleashing the Fun Through Sports," learners, teachers, and staff came together for a day full of friendly competition and unforgettable moments. 🏅🤩
📢 A Message of True Sportsmanship
The day kicked off with an inspiring message from our beloved Ma'am Bernadette Beleno. She reminded all of us that in sports, both winning and losing are valuable lessons. She encouraged everyone to "accept defeat as an opportunity to try harder" and to "celebrate victory to appreciate the efforts and lessons we've learned." 🏆 Her words truly set the perfect tone for our Sports Fest! 🙌
🏃♂️ All the Fun and Games!
The morning was a blast, hosted by our awesome emcees, Kench PJ G. Addawe (Grade 5) and Floydzion W. Ao-wat (Grade 4). 🎤 Their energy was contagious, and they kept the cheers and dances going! You could hear our learners' cheers all over the school—it was so much fun! 🎶💃
In the afternoon, our Sports Coordinator, Ma'am Julia B. Wannas, along with our amazing teachers and KSU student-teachers, led the different events. 🎯 The student-teachers did a great job helping our young athletes from Kindergarten to Grade 3 and Grade 4 to Grade 6 with their games. 🤝🏅
The learners competed in a variety of events that tested their skills, from teamwork to physical strength and even mental agility! 🧠💪
Here's a look at the games we had:
♟️ Chess Tournament: Our very own mind game masters battled it out! 🧠
🤸♀️ Kadangkadang: A super fun traditional Filipino game that taught us about balance and teamwork. 🇵🇭
🏃♀️ Track and Field Events: Our sprinters raced to the finish line, while others showed off their strength in the shot put, discus throw, long jump, and relay races! 🏃♂️💨
🎉 A Big Success!
Namnama ES Intramurals 2025 was more than just a sports event. It was a day where we all learned important life lessons and showed great sportsmanship.
🌟 A huge thank you to all the school staff, teachers, student-teachers, supportive parents, and, most of all, our learners for making this year's Intramurals a big success! We can't wait for the next one! 🙏🙌

BUWAN NG WIKA 2025 - Namnama Elementary School

To celebrate Nutrition Month, the Namnama Alternative Learning System (ALS) students held a fun and educational event about eating healthy.
The students showed off their cooking skills and prepared a nutritious meal, which included a boodle fight—a traditional Filipino feast where everyone eats together with their hands.
In addition to the boodle fight, indigenous fruits and vegetables were featured in the meal, offering not only delicious flavors but also a wealth of nutritional benefits.
A big thank you goes to the school principal, the ALS class adviser Hilda C. Miguel, and other teachers for making this event a success.
