🌾 Calaccad Elementary School joyfully celebrates IPED Day! 🌾
The event was made even more meaningful through the Filinism led by Ms. Canao, the heartfelt Prayer by Ms. Amogong, and the inspiring Opening Remarks from Ma’am Roma Babate. A special Message was also shared by our beloved IPMR of Calaccad, Mrs. Feliza Paga, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving and honoring our Indigenous culture and identity.
This celebration would not have been possible without the dedication and effort of Ma’am Jodylyn L. Dangatag for making the program successful, and the unwavering support of our teachers, students, and staff who actively participated in every activity. Your cooperation truly reflected the spirit of unity and respect for our cultural heritage.
Together, we continue to embrace and celebrate our roots with pride and love for our traditions.

Calaccad Elementary School proudly conducted a successful Earthquake Drill as part of its ongoing commitment to disaster preparedness and student safety. This vital activity was made possible through the strong support of the Local Government Unit of Tabuk City, led by Hon. Engr. Darwin C. Estranero, and coordinated by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) under the leadership of Sir Baldo N. Garnace Jr., Assistant Department Head.
The drill was actively participated in by all grade levels, with students demonstrating proper “Drop, Cover, and Hold” techniques and calmly evacuating to designated safe zones. Teachers played a crucial role in guiding their pupils throughout the process, ensuring that safety protocols were strictly followed. The students exhibited discipline, alertness, and cooperation—essential traits in responding effectively to real-life emergencies.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Schools Division Office of Tabuk City (SDO-Tabuk City) for its unwavering encouragement and support in promoting regular earthquake drills. Their guidance continues to strengthen our school’s resilience and readiness in the face of natural disasters.
Special thanks go to our dedicated School Head, Ma’am Jodylyn L. Dangatag, and all our hardworking teachers for their leadership and commitment to student welfare. Their efforts, in collaboration with our partners in the LGU and CDRRMO, help foster a safer and more prepared learning environment for every child.
We also acknowledge the invaluable support of Barangay Calaccad, our steadfast counterpart in this initiative. Under the leadership of Barangay Captain Joel V. Guinanas and the active participation of all Barangay Officials, their presence and assistance greatly contributed to the success of the drill. Their partnership reinforces the importance of community involvement in building a culture of safety and preparedness.
