✨Sharing the Spirit of Christmas at Burayukan Elementary School!

On December 17, 2024, the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP-K) conducted an Outreach Program bringing the spirit of Christmas to Burayukan Elementary School. The event was attended by faculty & staff, along with representatives from each department.

The day was filled with celebration as we hosted exciting games, participated in tree planting, and shared the joy of the season through gift-giving. Their smiles are a testament to the joy and hope this season brings.

Grateful to everyone who made this meaningful event possible.

Initial Case Presentation of Social Work Practitioners

The Social Work Level 4 students from ISAP-Kalinga proudly presented their case studies on November 28, 2024, at the Instructional Media Center.

This significant event showcased the students' learning, skills, and experiences gained through their field placements, reflecting their commitment to the values and practices of social work.

The partner agencies where the students rendered their practicum included:

City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO)
Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO)- Rizal Kalinga,
Almora General Hospital (AGH),
Tabuk Refuge of Hope International (TROHI),
Philippine Red Cross - Kalinga Chapter (PRC), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO)
and Overseas Worker Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Guided by their competent mentors and supervisors, the students demonstrated their grasp of professional values and their readiness to address the complexities of real-world cases.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of the Field Supervisor, Ma’am Jheslyn Argonia, and the Social Work Program Coordinator, Ma’am Marissa B. Patulay, who provided invaluable mentorship and support.

This event not only celebrated the students' achievements but also underscored the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and social work agencies in shaping future professionals.

Through this presentation, the students reaffirmed their dedication to making a difference in society, embodying the values of service, advocacy, and compassion integral to the social work profession.

At the summit, our delegates joined fellow social work students in exploring the calling and responsibility of making a positive impact in communities. This enriching experience allowed them to connect with passionate professionals and reaffirm their commitment to learning and growing in their field.

Our ISAP Kalinga delegates returned with valuable insights, a renewed sense of purpose, and a stronger dedication to their calling. Together, we are united in the goal to foster positive change, build a future where social work thrives, and continue serving communities everywhere.
