𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | As part of the continuing implementation of the 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 – 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, Calaccad National High School once again had the privilege of hosting the KSU faculty for a half-day learning session dedicated to enhancing the digital literacy competencies of our teachers and learners.

The session featured timely and relevant discussions on the following topics:

• Combating Misinformation and Developing Digital Media Literacy – Ma'am Jessie Grace Sannadan
• Navigating the Digital World Safely – Ma'am Sheila Mae Buslig
• Digital and AI for Educators/Ethical and Responsible Media Use– Atty. Reymar Pan-oy

Simultaneously, the other faculty members of Kalinga State University – College of Education facilitated parallel sessions for our Grade 7 to Grade 10 learners, ensuring that every student benefited from discussions on digital citizenship, media literacy, online safety, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.

Calaccad National High School expresses its sincere appreciation to the entire KSU–College of Education Extension Team for their unwavering commitment to extending quality educational services to our school community. In compliance with Division Memorandum No. 292, s. 2026, the school conducted the activity to deepen learners' understanding of patriotism, responsible citizenship, the rule of law, and the significance of our nation's sovereignty and lawful maritime entitlements.

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Calaccad National High School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) this morning, demonstrating preparedness and awareness in responding to earthquake emergencies.

Through this activity, learners, teachers, and staff reinforced the importance of safety, coordination, and disaster readiness. Together, we continue to build a safer and more resilient school community.
