The BSCpE students of Kalinga State University (KSU) successfully held their First General Assembly for Academic Year 2026–2027 at Kalinga State University – Bulanao Campus on July 10, 2026.

The event welcomed and oriented the first-year students, introduced the ICpEP.SE–KSU Chapter organization, conducted the oath-taking ceremony, featured reminders and messages from the faculty members, presented the organization's previous accomplishments and budget allocation, encouraged interactive feedback from students, and recognized the top-performing students.

The organization extends its sincere gratitude to all BSCpE students, faculty members, Engr. Andy B. Mulato, the invited guest speaker, and the ICpEP.SE–Kalinga Chapter officers for their invaluable support, cooperation, and dedication, which contributed to the successful conduct of the First General Assembly for Academic Year 2026–2027.

𝚃𝚘𝚍𝚊𝚢, we warmly welcomed our First Year and Transferee Students to the 𝙲𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚐𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝙴𝚗𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸𝚗𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚃𝚎𝚌𝚑𝚗𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚢 (𝙲𝙴𝙸𝚃) 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝙸𝙼𝚄𝙻𝙰: Welcome and Orientation Program 2026, held on July 1, 2026, at the KSU Gymnasium.

The program commenced with the Prayer, National Anthem, KSU Hymn, and a SIKLAB performance, followed by the Dean's Hour, where the College Dean introduced the college officials, faculty, and staff. Students were also inspired by the heartfelt message of the SUC President III, who encouraged them as they begin their academic journey.

The orientation continued with discussions on enrollment procedures, school forms, guidance and support services, student discipline and academic ethics, academic load and grading systems, retention policies and residency requirements, as well as the scholarships and incentives available to CEIT students.

To further immerse the freshmen in campus life, the Student Organization Showcase introduced the recognized student organizations within the college, including ICpEP.SE, IIEE-CSC, Math Pirates, ITS, PICE, and PSABE. This was followed by an Open Forum, where students had the opportunity to raise their questions and concerns.

In the afternoon, participants attended the KARCE Lecture and an orientation on the Student Scheduler App before proceeding to the much-awaited campus tour.

The program concluded with a program-based campus tour. The Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines – Student Edition (ICpEP.SE) personally welcomed and guided the Computer Engineering freshmen, introducing them to the clinic, laboratories, college facilities, and other campus buildings.
