As part of the Nutrition Month celebration, our school conducted a Clean-Up Drive on July 31, 2025, with the active participation of both parents and elementary pupils. The activity aimed to promote not only proper nutrition but also environmental cleanliness and community responsibility.
Each grade level was assigned specific areas around the school campus, including the back part of each classroom, the front of their respective rooms, the herbal garden up to the mini playpen, and areas of the school ground.
Using various cleaning tools such as brooms, dustpans, garbage bags, and sacks, pupils and parents worked hand-in-hand to sweep, remove weeds, collect litter, and properly dispose of waste.
Teachers supervised the activity, providing guidance on proper waste segregation and sanitation practices. The initiative also emphasized the strong connection between a clean environment and a healthy lifestyle.
The success of the Clean-Up Drive highlights the schoolโs ongoing commitment to nurturing health-conscious, eco-friendly, and responsible Theresians.

As part of the ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐๐ culmination, elementary pupils engaged in an insightful Infectious Disease Awareness Talk on July 29, 2025, held at the schoolโs covered court. The session was led by Mrs. Elicel May A. Daquioag, Nurse I from the City Epidemiology Section.
The session focused on two serious illnesses: Dengue and Leptospirosis. Mrs. Daquioag explained how Dengue is transmitted by mosquitoes and discussed key symptoms such as on-and-off fever, vomiting, and bleeding. She reminded pupils to prevent mosquito breeding by removing stagnant water from containers like old tires and flower pots.
She also tackled Leptospirosis, a disease caused by bacteria found in the urine of infected animals, often spread through floodwaters. Pupils were advised to avoid contact with dirty water and wear boots and gloves when necessary. Symptoms include fever, vomiting, headache, and stomach pain.
The talk served as a powerful reminder of the importance of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and disease prevention, essential habits for staying healthy and safe.
Thank you, Mrs. Daquioag, for your dedication to raising health awareness among our learners!
