Dear students, please join this webinar.

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act No. 7722, otherwise known as the Higher Education Act of 1994, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) will hold a Webinar on Debates and Controversies on COVID-19 Vaccines and Medicines on 12 November 2021 (Friday) at 10:00 AM via Zoom and Facebook (FB) Live.

This webinar will serve as our medium to disseminate to our higher education institutions (HEIs) and stakeholders the importance of health promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially the advantage of being vaccinated and protected. This will also provide answers to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) of faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders, as well as parents, including the debates and controversies regarding the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.

Due to the limitations in the Zoom platform, CHED and HEI officials, staff, faculty, and students are to register at https://bit.ly/CHEDwebinarcovidvaccine on or before November 11, 2021 (Thursday). The Zoom credentials will be emailed upon successful registration. Those who will not be able to be accommodated in the Zoom platform may tune in to the CHED page for the Livestream.

For related queries and concerns, you may contact your respective CHED Regional Offices or the Standards Development Division (SDD) of the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD) via [email protected].

Wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
