Watch as the YES-O Officers disseminate information regarding plastic waste management, degradation of waste, the importance of bringing tumblers, and also dengue awareness and prevention this August 13, 2026. Led by their adviser Ma'am Faith Dangatan Torres.
As the rainy season goes by, our environment is one of the key factors for our health and safety. By spreading information regarding plastic waste, dengue, the importance of bringing water tumblers and other environment related topics, the YES-O helps not only prevent pollution but also aid in awareness for safety and the healthiness of the students.
Waste and scattered litter collects tiny bits of water or even large amounts which then houses the eggs of Mosquitoes, the culprit behind the rising number of dengue cases. The YES-O also instructed that once the students feels the symptoms of dengue which are high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, muscle pain, rash and fatigue they can get checked up by the clinic.
Not only that, the YES-O also encourages the students to bring water tumblers as the YES-O and the YEC-S have collaborated and established water refilling stations in the campus at the main canteen, the PAGCOR Building and Building 1. As understanding for the young students the pricing of which is more affordable for the students.
