Career Expo and Annual Exit Tracking of Graduating SHS Learners

Kalinga National High School successfully conducted the Career Expo and Annual Exit Tracking for all graduating Senior High School (SHS) learners on March 6, 2026. The activity aimed to guide learners in making informed career decisions and to gather data regarding their post-secondary plans.
The program commenced with a Career Walk, where all graduating learners proudly showcased their chosen career attires, representing the professions they aspire to pursue in the future. This activity highlighted the diverse career paths envisioned by the learners and encouraged them to visualize their goals.
The event also featured career coaching sessions facilitated by representatives from various partner agencies who shared valuable insights and opportunities related to employment, entrepreneurship, and skills training. The invited resource speakers included Ms. Mai Lani Labo representing the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Mr. Anthony M. Luminang from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Ms. Aurelia A. Sanet from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Ms. Ma. Erlinda T. Noval from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Their discussions provided learners with practical information on career pathways, job readiness, and available government programs that support youth employment and skills development.
One of the highlights of the event was the Career Advocacy Walk Presentation, where representatives from the 13 graduating sections creatively presented and promoted various career fields. The presentations allowed learners to demonstrate their understanding of different professions and inspire their peers through engaging and informative advocacy performances.
The activity concluded with the accomplishment of the SHS Exit Tracking, where graduating learners documented their intended plans after graduation, such as pursuing higher education, entering employment, engaging in entrepreneurship, or undergoing technical-vocational training. This process is essential in monitoring the career directions of graduates and improving the school’s career guidance initiatives.
The guidance unit also extends its special thanks to the school administration, grade 12 teachers and the PTA for their continuous support in making this activity possible.
Through this activity, Kalinga National High School reaffirmed its commitment to preparing learners for meaningful career paths and supporting them in their transition from school to future opportunities.

💜 VAWC Awareness 2025
Kalinga National High School joins the nation in the campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children.

This year, we strengthen our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for every learner, parent, and staff member. VAWC is not only a violation of human rights— it is a barrier to education, growth, and community well-being.

As we observe the VAWC Awareness campaign, we encourage everyone to take part in promoting a culture of protection and empathy within our school.

🔸 Respect and kindness in all interactions
🔸 Zero tolerance for any form of abuse or harassment
🔸 Support systems for learners who need help
🔸 Awareness and education for prevention

Together, let us continue building a school community where women and children feel heard, protected, and valued.

Let us stand united against VAWC.
A safe school is everyone’s responsibility.
