๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ: CTU Tabuelan Extension holds its 2nd Commencement Exercises.
Another momentous occasion sparked for CTU Tabuelan Extension Campus as the 2nd Commencement Exercises took place at the Bulawanong Tinubdan Cultural Center- CTU Tuburan Campus. The theme "Globalizing Higher Education: CTU's Pathways in Industry 5.0" reflects the university's commitment to providing its graduates with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the rapidly evolving Industry 5.0.
CTU's commencement exercise began with a processional, gracefully led by the University Registrar, Mrs. Crisanna A. Yap, bringing the University Mace. Following closely behind were the 39 candidates for graduation, proudly led by the Dean of the College of Technology, Dr. Pedro M. Mondejar, accompanied by the Associate Dean, Engr. Fernando Mangubat Jr. They were joined by the presence of the Campus Officials, led by the Campus Director, Dr. Ma. Carla Y. Abaquita, and the Dean of Instruction, Dr. Rowena P. Abaquita. Among the honored guests were Tabuelan Municipal Mayor Raul T. Gerona, Vice Mayor Rex T. Gerona, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members of Tabuelan, Cebu. Additionally, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hedeliza A. Pineda, and Benhur Z. Salimbangon II, representing Congresswoman of the 4th District of Cebu, Hon. Janice Salimbangon, added to the significance of this momentous occasion.
Dr. Rowena Abaquita warmly welcomed and thanked the Honored Guests for gracing CTU with their presence. She expressed her appreciation and thanked them for their unwavering support for CTU. Moreover, Dr. Pineda congratulated the graduates for completing their 4-year journey in college, enduring all the challenges and adversities along the way.
On the other hand, representing the commencement speaker, Hon. Janice Z. Salimbangon, her son Benhur Z. Salimbangon II said, "Pursue your passion relentlessly and do not settle for mediocrity," as life has so much to offer. Technology is evolving daily, and opportunities will never cease to knock. Go out, explore, and innovate.
