Alumni Homecoming funds new instruments for SANHS Drum and Lyre Corps

San Antonio National High School alumni used proceeds from their 60th founding anniversary homecoming to fund upgraded instruments for the school’s Drum and Lyre Corps, improving sound quality and performance capability for student musicians.

The new equipment includes marching snare drums, tenor drums, bass drums, glockenspiels (bell lyres), and pairs of lyres.

The alumni homecoming raised ₱50,000 as a down payment toward ₱200,000 worth of instruments; the remaining ₱150,000 will be covered by the school and parents.

Faculty and staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to the alumni association, noting the investment will directly benefit students by enhancing rehearsals, competitions, and school events.
