MAPEH 9: Celebrating Faith and Devotion: Dalaw Nazareno at Tabaco National High School
On March 14, 2024, Tabaco National High School was filled with the spirit of reverence and devotion as we gather to celebrate Dalaw Nazareno, a cherished tradition that honors the deep faith of Filipinos. It was a day of prayer, reflection, and gratitude as we walked the path of the Cross, embodying the enduring love and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The MAPEH Department took the lead at the 11th Station of the Cross, guiding our community through a powerful moment of contemplation and remembrance. It was a solemn reminder of the immense sacrifice made for our salvation, inspiring us to renew our faith and commitment to living lives of compassion and love.
Decorations were assembled by the talented MAPEH 9 Team, under the guidance of the dedicated teacher, Ma'am Nenette B. Lopez, along with the creative expertise of Sir Ricky B. Esquivel and Sir Leo D. Gile.
As we immersed ourselves in prayer and reflection this coming Lenten Season, we were reminded of the power of faith to unite and uplift us, even in the face of challenges and uncertainties. Dalaw Nazareno was not just a tradition but a profound expression of our shared beliefs and values as a community.
Let us carry the spirit of Dalaw Nazareno in our hearts as we continue our journey of faith, hope, and love. May we always walk in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, guided by His light and grace.

π¨β¨ Community, Creativity and Celebrating Success: Project LATAA Outreach in Barangay San Carlos! β¨π¨
We are thrilled to share the heartwarming success of MAPEH 9's Project LATAA (Learners' Artful Touch and Artist Adventure) outreach activity, which took place on March 14, 2024, in Barangay San Carlos, Tabaco City. Spearheaded by the passionate project proponent and MAPEH 9 Teacher, Ms. Mitzi A. Colipano, alongside dedicated MAPEH 9 Teachers and student interns, this initiative was a testament to the power of art and community.
Our team had the privilege of conducting an inspiring art workshop for the talented Grades 4, 5, and 6 learners of San Carlos Elementary School. Guided by the expertise of our mentors, including Mr. Ricky B. Esquivel and Mr. Leo D. Gile from the Special Program in the Arts-Visual Arts together with the SPA Visual Arts learners, the students of San Carlos Elementary School embarked on a creative journey, exploring their artistic potential and expressing themselves through various mediums.
Following the enriching workshop, we had the honor of organizing a meaningful feeding program for all the learners present. It was a beautiful moment of connection and compassion as we shared not just food but also laughter, stories, and genuine camaraderie.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Tabaco National High School community for their unwavering support, including the enthusiastic participation of TNHS students, the invaluable collaboration of SPA Visual Arts students, and the guidance of our school administrators, sponsors, and stakeholders. Your support has been instrumental in making this outreach initiative a resounding success.
A special shoutout goes to the San Carlos community, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Andrea B. Brizuela, and to the San Carlos Elementary School for opening their hearts and doors to us. Your warm hospitality and cooperation made this outreach experience truly unforgettable.
As MAPEH 9 teachers, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Let us continue to nurture a culture of creativity, kindness, and community, inspiring one another to reach new heights and spread joy wherever we go.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of Project LATAA outreach in Barangay San Carlos. Together, we are making a difference and creating a brighter future for all.

ππ₯ Reflecting on a Milestone: Bandaging Basics - MOLDING LEARNERS TO BE SAFE AND READY - MAPEH 9/Team NUEVE
Last March 7, 2024, the Lagman Gymnasium at Tabaco National High School was abuzz with the energy and enthusiasm of eager minds, as we successfully conducted the vital educational session, "Bandaging Basics: MOLDING LEARNERS TO BE SAFE AND READY." This hands-on learning experience marked a significant milestone in our journey towards empowering our students with essential life-saving skills.
A special shoutout to the esteemed Mr. Dean S. Belarmino, whose expertise and dedication to teaching crucial first aid techniques left a lasting impression on all attendees. His approachable manner and practical instructions made the complex world of first aid seem accessible and engaging to every learner present. Congratulations also to all student interns from BUCE, SCJJ and BUIPESR who actively participated and assisted Mr. Belarmino during the bandaging processes.
This pivotal activity was part of the broader initiative, Project EASEL: Empowering Academic Strategies for Effective Learning, ingeniously proposed by the Grade Level Subject Coordinator, Mr. Francisco A. Alamares Jr - a visionary approach towards holistic education both academic as well as the practical or real-world skills of the learners.
The spotlight of the day was on our TNHS Grade 9 Learners, who demonstrated an inspiring level of attentiveness and readiness to absorb the bandaging techniques related to the Health 9 topic: Unintentional Injuries. This session, held during the 3rd Quarter, equipped them with not only the knowledge but also the confidence to handle emergency situations effectively.
Seeing all Grade 9 learners actively participate and practice the bandaging methods was a testament to their eagerness to learn and their understanding of the importance of being prepared for unforeseen circumstances. The skills learned here extend beyond the classroom, preparing them to be responsible individuals in their communities.
Our heartfelt gratitude extends to everyone who played a part in making this event a resounding success- to our School Principal IV, Ma'am Elena B. Tasic, our JHS ASP for Academics, Ma'am Salve Estrella and our MAPEH Department Head, Ma'am Ma. Tessie C. Babasoro. From the meticulous planning by the educators to the enthusiastic participation of our students, each contribution has significantly enriched the learning journey of our young minds. To the active and superb MAPEH 9 teachers, we thank you for all the support during the said activity.
The team would like to give thanks also to The Thread and Needle Club officers led by Maβam Rexie Martirez for all our triangular bandages. It was truly a successful collaboration.
As we reflect on the success of "Bandaging Basics: MOLDING LEARNERS TO BE SAFE AND READY," let us continue to champion such educational endeavors that prepare our students not just academically, but for the unpredictable challenges of life. Here's to fostering a culture of readiness and safety among our learners, ensuring they are equipped to face the world with confidence and care.
