Ngayong Buwan ng Wika 2026, buong pagmamalaki nating ipinagdiriwang ang patuloy na pagyabong ng wikang Filipino sa makabagong panahon sa temang: “𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻.”

Sa panahong mabilis na umuunlad ang teknolohiya at Artificial Intelligence (AI), mahalagang maunawaan natin na ang wika ay hindi lamang paraan ng pakikipagkomunikasyon, kundi isang mahalagang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, pagbuo ng kaalaman, at pagpapahayag ng ating pagkakakilanlan bilang Pilipino.

Ang AI ay maaaring magsilbing makabagong katuwang sa paghahanap, pagsusuri, at pagproseso ng impormasyon. Gayunpaman, nananatiling mahalaga ang mapanuri at responsableng paggamit nito, sapagkat ang teknolohiya ay higit na nagiging makabuluhan kapag ginagamit nang may wastong pagpapahalaga sa katotohanan, orihinalidad, etika, at sariling pag-iisip.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, magkakaroon ng iba't ibang patimpalak, malikhaing gawain, at makabuluhang presentasyon na lalahukan ng ating mga mag-aaral mula sa Senior High School at College. Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing ito, bibigyan natin ng pagkakataon ang ating mga mag-aaral na maipakita ang kanilang talento, talas ng isip, pagkamalikhain, husay sa komunikasyon, at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino at kulturang Pilipino.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay pangungunahan ng SAMAFIL Club, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), at Student Council Organization (SCO) bilang bahagi ng kanilang patuloy na pagsusulong ng mga gawaing nagpapalakas sa pakikilahok, pagkakaisa, at paghubog sa mga mag-aaral.

Higit pa sa isang pagdiriwang, ang Buwan ng Wika ay isang paalala na ang wikang Filipino ay patuloy na nabubuhay, nagbabago, at umaangkop sa pangangailangan ng bawat henerasyon. Sa pagsasanib ng wika at teknolohiya, binubuksan natin ang mas malawak na daan tungo sa pagkatuto at paglikha ng bagong kaalaman—nang hindi kinakalimutan ang ating kultura, identidad, at pagiging Pilipino.

In view of the scheduled power interruption announced by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) and Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ALECO), all SHS and College classes at Amando Cope College on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, shall shift to asynchronous learning.
