"Designing the Future: BSHRM 4’s Miniature Smart Hotel Masterpiece”
The BSHRM 4 students of Perpetual Help Paramedical College proudly unveiled an impressive project—a detailed miniature smart hotel—developed for their subject Trends and Issues in the Hospitality Industry under the mentorship of Sir Jessie Credo. This innovative creation highlights not only the students’ creativity and craftsmanship but also their growing understanding of modern hospitality concepts.
The project was thoughtfully and excellently crafted by the following graduating BSHRM students:
• Pearl Aira Bataller
• Arianne Belgar
• Rebecca Andrea Talosig
• Sarah Angela Talosig
• Alexa Hilary San Andres
• Carlo Brecia
• Danny Cris Bequio
• Cedrick Lesiguez
• Michael Joshua Lesiguez
• Kian Lloyd Barcebal
This project holds significant importance for hospitality students as it provides them with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, smart hotel systems, and sustainable design trends that are shaping today’s global hospitality landscape. By building a miniature hotel model, the students were able to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, enhance their problem-solving skills, refine their teamwork, and gain a clearer picture of how innovation drives guest experience and operational efficiency.
Ultimately, this activity prepares future hospitality professionals to adapt to industry advancements, think creatively, and develop a forward-looking mindset—qualities essential for success in a competitive and ever-evolving hospitality field.
