Agad na yumuko sa sahig bago ka matumba.
Iwasan ang pagtayo o pagtakbo habang malakas ang pagyanig.
COVER
Magkubli sa ilalim ng matibay na mesa o lamesa.
Takpan ang ulo at leeg gamit ang iyong mga kamay o anumang bagay na makakaprotekta.
Kung walang mesa, lumapit sa sulok ng kwarto at lumayo sa mga bintana, salamin, o mabibigat na bagay na maaaring bumagsak.
HOLD ON
Hawakan nang mahigpit ang kinukublihan mo hanggang matapos ang pagyanig.
Kung gagalaw ang mesa, sumabay sa galaw nito habang nakahawak.

SEVERE TROPICAL STORM OPONG ( ) ADVISORY NO. 3
Issued: 8:00 AM, Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025
STS OPONG is now near Eastern Samar, moving toward Northern Samar–Sorsogon.
Tomorrow (Fri, Sept. 26): Expected landfall in Northern Samar and Sorsogon (5–8 AM), then crossing Ragay Gulf and Burias Islands before weakening into a Tropical Storm. Another landfall likely in Oriental Mindoro (afternoon).
By early Saturday, it may re-intensify as it moves into the West Philippine Sea.
OPONG will also strengthen the Habagat (Southwest Monsoon), causing occasional rains, thunderstorms, and gusty winds in Mindanao, Sulu Archipelago, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas.

A Low-Pressure Area (Pre “Opong”) outside PAR has a HIGH chance of becoming a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm. Rainfall expected over Visayas-Bicol Area this Thursday and Friday.
Tabaco City is now under BLUE ALERT STATUS.
All barangays, DRRM Committees, and the public are advised to take precautionary actions.
Avoid unnecessary travel, outdoor activities, river crossing, or going to sea. Mariners of small vessels must exercise extreme caution.

Wind signals will be hoisted over parts of Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region as early as Wednesday, with signal no. 3 the highest possible wind warning to be raised.
Tropical Cyclone Update (as of 5 p.m., September 23, 2025)
The tropical depression east of the country entered the Philippine area of responsibility at 4 p.m. Tuesday and was assigned the local name Opong.
It was last spotted 1,045 km east of northeastern Mindanao.
Opong packs winds of 55 kph and gusts up to 70 kph. It is moving west southwestward at 10 kph.
It is seen to intensify steadily up to severe tropical storm strength while moving west northwestward over the Philippine Sea.
Opong may pass very close to or make landfall over Northern Luzon early Friday.
It will then cross Southern Luzon until Friday evening or early Saturday and exit the PAR Saturday evening.
Wind signals will be hoisted over parts of Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region as early as Wednesday, with signal no. 3 the highest possible wind warning to be raised.
Heavy rains over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao may begin on Thursday.
