Today, we celebrate not just the end of an extraordinary career, but the beautiful legacy of a woman who has faithfully devoted 36 years of her life to the Department of Education and to the San Lorenzo National High School family. As our Head Teacher III and Junior High School Coordinator, you have led with grace, wisdom, and a heart that always placed the welfare of teachers and learners above all else. Your dedication was never measured by the years you served, but by the countless lives you uplifted, the dreams you nurtured, and the hope you inspired every single day.

As you turn the page to this new chapter, our hearts are filled with both gratitude and bittersweet emotions. While we will deeply miss your daily presence, we find joy in knowing that you now have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your years of sacrifice and service. Good luck to our nine SLNHS mathletes who represented our school in the 2026 Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad Heat Round held today, March 8, 2026, at Tabaco National High School.

The results are expected to be released on March 13, while the Final Round will take place in Clark, Pampanga this coming September.

We are proud of your hard work and dedication. Good luck, mathletes! We are praying for your success and cheering you on every step of the way! 🫶🏻✨

Day 2 Afternoon at Camp Helix! 🌧️🏕️
Despite the rain, the excitement didn’t slow down as our campers took on the aMATHracing challenge! With 7 dynamic and challenging stations, they were pushed to test their mental agility, physical strength, and problem-solving skills. Working closely with their co-patrols, campers completed each task with enthusiasm, determination, and lots of teamwork. The afternoon was filled with laughter, collaboration, communication, and growing camaraderie proving that rain or shine, the Camp Helix spirit stays strong! 🫶🏻💪🏻✨ Thank you to all our teachers, especially the young teachers and helix guild officers for facilitating the race.

Day 2 at Camp Helix! ✨🌞
The second morning at Camp Helix came alive as our campers explored math through four thoughtfully designed sessions, exploring math in ways that felt fun, fresh and exciting.

Campers actively engaged in painting math with elements in Pyro Canvas: Painting Session, crafting legends inspired by the 4 elements in Modular Flow: Modulo Art Session, building precise geometric designs in Aerial Lines: String Art Session, to imagining real-world applications through games, puzzles, and devices in Terra Ground: Math Showcase session. 🫶🏻✨

What stood out most was the campers eagerness. Watching them realize that math isn’t just about solving problems, but also about creating and imagining, made their camp experience truly special. ✨🎨📐

It’s Blue day of our Helix Campers, but our mathletes are not feeling blue at all!!🌞
We started the day together with our flag ceremony, got our hearts pumping with dance exercises, celebrated achievements during the first day with awarding, and strengthened friendships through team-building activities. Laughter, learning, and teamwork made the morning truly special!

✨ Day 1
As the night set in, the camp grew even more lively and fun, filled with cheers, laughter, and excitement, because of the exciting moments in the 2026 Helix Elementals Fashionista King and Queen. The campers proudly showcased their self-crafted mathematical attires inspired by the four elements—Aero 🌬️, Terra 🌱, Aqua 🌊, and Pyro 🔥.

Each attires of the 27 Patrol’s representative reflected not only mathematical concepts but also passion, teamwork, and imagination. The energy of the crowd, the bright smiles, and the proud walks made the night truly unforgettable! Congratulations to all! 🫶🏻✨

In connection with the Math Fest and Expo-Talent celebration of San Lorenzo National High School, this year’s camp carries the theme Helix Elementals: We Shine as One! ✨

We are incredibly proud of our 276 active and competitive Helix campers, making this one of the most unforgettable camps spearheaded by the SLNHS Mathematics Department along with the Helix Guild Organization! 🫶🏻✨
