A T T E N T I O N!!!!

GUIDELINES in the Selection of Rizal College of Taal Alumni Association SCHOLARS

1. Enrolled as College Students of RCT in any course, any year level, during the academic year 2023-2024.

2. Possesses good moral character and integrity.

3. Applicant should live up to the expectations of the RCT Alumni Association.

4. Applicant is NOT a recipient of any Scholarship Program / Educational Grant / Subsidies like:
4.1 UNIFAST – Tertiary Education
4.2 UNIFAST – Tulong-Dunong Program
4.3 Don Mariano Gregorio Agoncillo Foundation
4.4 Gino Ilagan Scholarship

5. Parents or any immediate member of the family are not working abroad.

6. Applicant is NOT an Academic Scholar of RCT.

7. Household has no regular income exceeding P15,000.00

8. General Average for the last academic year.
8.1 First year – 90% and above
8.2 Second, Third & Fourth year should have a general average of 1.75 with no grade lower than 2.25.

9. No financial assistance / aid / support from any immediate family / relative / friends working abroad.

10. In the event that the scholar stops school during the semester / academic year, due to sickness, marriage, personal or school problem, his scholarship will be forfeited, if he desires to continue the following School Year or semester.

11. Scholars shall maintain the general average of 1.75 with no grade lower than 2.25 in any subject every semester. In the course that the scholar cannot maintain his general average, he will be given consideration for one (1) semester. If the general average is not met / maintained the succeeding semester, he will be AUTOMATICALLY be UNLISTED in the ROSTER of SCHOLARS.

12. The applicant must SUBMIT a photocopy of the following:
12.1 Assessment form for first semester, AY 2023-2024
12.2 Grades Verification Form duly certified by the College Registrar.\

13. MUST participate in RCT Alumni Association activities.

DEADLINE for SUBMISSION of APPLICATION REQUIRMENTS shall be September 15, 2023.

We would like to invite your respective representatives to attend an important meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. onwards, regarding the upcoming 100th year Grand Alumni Homecoming next month, April 15, 2023.

The meeting will be held at Buliran, Multi-Purpose Hall, and it is crucial that all interested parties attend as we will be discussing important matters about the event. We encourage you to come and participate in the planning and preparation of this exciting gathering.

I remember this statement in one of my subjects in Finance way back in college which I apply in every aspect of my life. I am truly grateful and proud of RCT for all the learnings and experiences that honed me to be a Billing, Credit and Collection Executive and a Licensed Financial Consultant and Certified Investment Advisor. I thought it would be hard for me to excel in the real world but I realized that aside from being a product of a reputable school, your ability and dedication to succeed is very important! We will encounter different adversities along the way but through positive attitude and perseverance we will overcome them. I may not consider myself a successful one at this moment but what I am sure of is that I am happy and satisfied to where I am today. We will continue to learn and work hard to achieve our goals and to be an inspiration to others. Cheers to more success and to our future endeavors!

As a globally competitive professional, I’ll just keep going as life won’t always be perfect and it will never be perfect but seeing it through to the end is a feeling that can never be taken from us.
