In a world where numbers can often feel like a daunting maze, the students of Baringcucurong National High School (BNHS) proved today that with the right mentors and a bit of grit, every problem has a solution.
The atmosphere at ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™–. ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™– ๐™‰๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ก ๐™ƒ๐™ž๐™œ๐™ ๐™Ž๐™˜๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™ก was electric this March 6, 2026, as the ๐˜ฟ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™จ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ค๐™ข ๐™ˆ๐˜ฟ๐˜ผ๐™Ž ๐˜ผ๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ˆ๐˜ผ๐™๐™ƒ๐™ž๐™˜๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ ๐˜พ๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š๐™จ got underway.
Under the expert guidance of JHS math mentors Maโ€™am Angelica Ayusa and Maโ€™am Lovely Joyce Balisong, the BNHS "Mathletes" transformed days of lectures into podium finishes. The results were a testament to the school's diverse talent:

โ€ข๐˜ผ๐™ก๐™š๐™ญ๐™– ๐™‚๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™š ๐™‹. ๐˜ฟ๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™–๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ฃ secured a stellar 4th Place (Category B).
โ€ข๐™‘๐™–๐™ก๐™š๐™ง๐™ž๐™š ๐˜ผ. ๐˜ฟ๐™–๐™ข๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ž๐™œ earned a hard-fought 5th Place (Category A).
The victory was a family affair, as mentor ๐™ˆ๐™–โ€™๐™–๐™ข ๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š๐™ก๐™ž๐™˜๐™– ๐˜ผ๐™ฎ๐™ช๐™จ๐™– led by example, clinching 3rd Place in the Teachers' Category.
Principal of BNHS, ๐™ˆ๐™–โ€™๐™–๐™ข ๐™‚๐™ค๐™ก๐™™๐™– ๐˜ผ. ๐™๐™ž๐™ก๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ stood proudly with her students during the awarding ceremony, celebrating a day where every equation led to success. Baringcucurong National High School stands tall today as we welcome home our two ambassadors, Renz Jared V. Ramirez and Maybelle S. Lorica, from the Mr. & Ms. ISDAAM 2026 stage in Vigan City.
To represent your school is an honor; to represent the entire Municipality of Suyo and Unit IV is a massive responsibility, one that Renz and Maybelle carried with absolute grace, tireless dedication, and immense pride.
