The NEMSU Bislig Campus Library was pleased to be invited by the MSU-IIT University Library to witness the Turnover Ceremony of The Lounge at the Main Library Building on September 15, 2026.

Congratulations to the MSU-IIT University Library and the entire MSU-IIT community on this remarkable achievement. The Lounge adds a dedicated space where users can read, study, interact, and collaborate in a more relaxed setting—reflecting the importance of creating library environments that consider not only the resources provided, but also the quality of the user’s experience while in the library.

The visit also provided a valuable opportunity to benchmark practices and engage with librarians and library professionals from Northern Mindanao. Our discussions covered possible areas of professional cooperation, resource sharing, and initiatives to further strengthen the learning resources and services of NEMSU Bislig Campus Library.

These exchanges are valuable as we continue to look at practical ways of improving our library facilities, resources, and services in support of teaching, learning, and research.

Our sincere appreciation to the MSU-IIT University Library for the invitation, warm hospitality, and opportunity for professional exchange. We likewise thank the NEMSU Bislig Campus Administration for its support and for allowing the Campus Library representative to participate in this professional engagement.

Congratulations once again to MSU-IIT on The Lounge—a meaningful addition to the library and its continuing commitment to a more responsive and user-centred library environment.

NEMSU employees across its seven campuses simultaneously renewed their Oath of Service, reaffirming their commitment to integrity, accountability, professionalism, and dedicated public service.

At the NEMSU Bislig Campus, the ceremony was held at the Campus Library—a space where learning, reflection, and meaningful experiences meet. More than a venue, it became a setting for creating memories while renewing the commitment to serve and continue learning.

Led by SUC President III Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon as Officer Administering the Oath, the ceremony brought the NEMSU community together in reaffirming the responsibilities entrusted to every public servant.
