The Instructional Materials Review Committee (IMRC) successfully concluded its preparatory meeting for Cycle 3 of the Core Instructional Materials (Core IM) Review on August 11, 2026, held at the Internet Zone of the Learning Resource Center (LRC).

The meeting was spearheaded by the Committee Chair and duly attended by majority of the IMRC members, namely Dr. Lucille G. Tanguihan (CTE), Dr. Unife O. Cagas (CCIS), Dr. Jessica Rose E. Fernandez (GS), Dr. Jerlou B. Sal (CBT-Tech), Dr. Michelle T. Panganduyon (CAS) and Dr. Angielee G. Camarin (CBT-HM/TM). Also present were members of the Secretariat, Ms. Jessel Mae S. Apole, Ms. Ramilyn Liquigan, and Dr. Irish A. Oxtero.

During the meeting, Dr. Angielee G. Camarin was elected as Vice Chair of the IMRC, in accordance with Section 5 of the SNSU Policy on Instructional Materials Review and Certification.

Among the key concerns deliberated were the calendar of activities for Cycle 3, the possible engagement of external reviewers as short-term IM experts, the finalization of the checklist for grounds for automatic rejection, and the validation of the revised rating sheets, among others.

The IMRC remains committed to strengthening the quality, integrity, and instructional value of Core IMs across all academic programs of the University.
