Aside from the other infrastructure projects in the pipeline for Surigao City, Mayor Dumlao personally visited Usec. Densing to discuss future plans for the Department of Education - Surigao City Division.

Following Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte’s directive on prioritizing school infrastructures, 6,000 classrooms are targeted to be built this year, with DepEd allocating PHP15.6 billion in funds for the construction of new school buildings across the country.
