WORLD TOURISM MONTH 2026 | DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS

BRINGING THE FUTURE HOME ✈️✨

Day 3 brought learning beyond the classroom as participants gained valuable insights into the world of aviation, safety, professionalism, and the real-life experiences of working as a flight attendant.

✈️ Ms. Hermione Gallarde Abadia, Founder & Managing Director of RWY22 Cabin Crew Training Center, led an engaging In-Flight Safety Demonstration, giving participants a closer look at the importance of safety procedures and preparedness in aviation.

👩‍✈️ She also shared inspiring experiences from her journey as a former international flight attendant and purser, giving participants a glimpse into the realities, responsibilities, and opportunities of working in the airline industry.

💄 The afternoon session focused on Proper Grooming Orientation and Demonstration, highlighting the importance of professionalism, confidence, proper appearance, and attention to detail in the tourism and aviation industry.

From safety to grooming, and from learning to real-world experiences, Day 3 reminded us that preparing for the future of tourism starts with building the right skills, confidence, and professionalism.

WORLD TOURISM MONTH 2026 | DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS

EXPERIENCING THE DESTINATION 💙

Day 2 took us deeper into the future of tourism through collaboration, research, digital innovation, and technology.

🤝 The day began with a General Assembly led by the Tribu Turismo Organization, bringing participants together for an engaging and meaningful session.

🌏 We also welcomed Dr. Jeetesh Kumar of Taylor’s University, Malaysia through an international virtual lecture, exploring “Pathways to Publishable Tourism Research” and the digital and AI-driven agenda for regenerative tourism.

💻 Engr. Levi A. Corvero introduced participants to coding and digital prototyping for tourism, followed by a BASE44 Orientation and Student Workshop facilitated by Mr. Ariel Il Gabisan.

From research to digital creation, Day 2 turned learning into new possibilities for tourism. ✈️🤖🌏

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Earl Shawn for sharing his knowledge, skills, and creativity during the session “Basic Photography and Videography Composition with a Touch of AI” as part of the 3-Day World Tourism Month Celebration.

The session was truly a meaningful and inspiring experience as we learned how photography, videography, and artificial intelligence can work together to capture moments, enhance creativity, and tell compelling stories. 🎥📷🤖

✈️ WORLD TOURISM MONTH 2026 | DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS

BOARDING THE FUTURE 🌍💙

The journey officially began! ✈️✨ Day 1 brought together our future tourism professionals for a meaningful day of learning, creativity, and innovation as we explored the role of technology in shaping the future of tourism.

🎥 In the afternoon, participants explored the basics of photography and videography with a touch of AI, gaining practical insights into creating engaging digital content. They then put their learning into action through a 1-Minute Video Workshop, where they created their own short videos inspired by the session. 📸🎬

From learning new skills to turning ideas into stories, Day 1 was a successful takeoff toward the future of tourism. ✈️🌏

MEET OUR STUDENT WORKSHOP FACILITATOR!

With a strong background in leadership, international representation, and student governance, we are proud to introduce Mr. Ariel Il. B. Gabisan, a 3rd Year BSTM student and Executive Board – Secretariat of the International Model United Nations (IMUN).

His experience includes serving as an IMUN Delegate to Hanoi, Vietnam, representing Bahrain in UN Women, as well as being part of the IMUN Executive Board for Operations in Manila, Philippines, representing UNESCO.

Bringing his experience in international relations, leadership, cross-cultural communication, and organizational management, Mr. Gabisan is ready to share valuable insights and experiences with our future tourism professionals.
