🕊️ IKULONG NA YAN, MGA KURAKOT🕊️

From classrooms to digital podiums, these Surigaonon debaters prove that the fight for integrity doesn’t just happen in the streets, it happens in every round, every speech, and every argument built on truth.

At the Kontra Korap Cup, hosted by TalakSik Debates and Kamalig Debate Tournaments, our representatives rose with conviction and courage — challenging corruption not just as a social issue, but as a test of moral reasoning and civic duty.

💪High School Quarterfinalists:
Shane Inacay & Mark Bonilla

🎯Breaking Adjudicators:
Shakera Villarde (Open Octofinals Panel)
Tatiana Quiachon (Open Grand Finals Panel, 6th Best Judge)

🌾Competing Teams:
Rhian Petilo & Jake Consigna

Our heartfelt thanks to TalakSik Debates and Kamalig Debate Tournaments for hosting this free, advocacy-driven tournament that amplifies the message: Transparency isn’t optional — it’s essential.

🌿From Grassroots to Greatness🌿
From the humble debate circuits of Surigao to the pixelated plains of the Grassroots Debate Open, these young debaters crafted worlds of logic, teamwork, and passion — one block of argument at a time. ⛏️💬

Alexa Capul and Lloisa Faye C. Rosales took on the field as a Competing Team, building solid cases and creative rebuttals that stand strong under pressure. Meanwhile, Princess Mel Lerog joined as a Competing Adjudicator, guiding the flow of rounds with sharp analysis and fairness.

In every debate, just like in Minecraft, the best structures rise from solid foundations, and our grassroots community continues to build higher than ever. 🏗️🌱

🎤🎩 “If I had a nickel for every time Tati competed in a Luzon comp with pure skill and determination… I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice!”
— Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, probably overhearing the adjudication panel

In a world where others are still figuring out what to do today, Tati already did—bringing sharp judgment, unwavering focus, and unmatched perseverance to the North Luzon Invitational Debates as a competing adjudicator! ⚖️

From breaking down clash points to elevating speaker analysis with Doofenshmirtz-level precision (minus the evil), Tati proved that debate isn’t just a competition—it’s a craft.

"Say what you want to say, and let the words fall out. Honestly, I wanna see you be brave."

💪— Brave by Sara Bareilles

Have you ever had thoughts you've wanted to say out loud, but struggled to find the right words to express what you feel? 🤔 How about the confidence and "bravery" that comes along with it? Trust me, we've all been there. But here’s a truth worth holding on to: everything can change the moment you find the strength to speak up.✨️ Because one of the most powerful turning points in life begins when you choose to use your voice. 🗣

Here at Surigao del Norte Debate Ridge (SNDR), we help you discover that voice. As the previous school year has finally come to an end, we are inviting aspiring debaters to audition and grow with us in our next chapter. 📚

Nurture your skills. Unleash your hidden potential in public speaking. Use your voice to express your thoughts, argue with conviction, and master the art of standing firm with what you believe in. Join us, and become a part of our team — one that discovers reason, courage, and growth. 🌱

If you're interested, please approach or leave a message to these following people:

Vienna Daffodil Resilla
Miljun Bonilla
Tatiana Quiachon

Looking forward to acknowledge you as one of our own, future debaters. May we continue to climb the ridge! 🎉
