Taft National High School - Senior High School

Pursuant to 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟲, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, tomorrow, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆), is declared a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 (𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴) 𝗗𝗮𝘆 throughout the country in observance of 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

Accordingly, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

May we take this occasion to remember the life, courage, and sacrifice of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. 🇵🇭💛

📚 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗖 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦

Taft National High School successfully conducted the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹 (𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗖) 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 in a series of sessions on the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, pursuant to 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟭𝟱, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The session was facilitated by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗩, who discussed the key provisions and important changes in the revised guidelines to ensure a common understanding and consistent implementation among teachers.

Attended by all teaching personnel, the session provided an important venue for clarifying policies, strengthening assessment practices, and ensuring that grading, awards, and recognition remain fair, transparent, and aligned with current DepEd standards.

This marks the beginning of a continuing series of SLAC sessions aimed at equipping Taft NHS teachers with the knowledge and guidance necessary for the effective implementation of DepEd policies in the classroom.

The Taft National High School community came together in faith and prayer for our 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 held today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the Taft NHS Covered Court.

The Eucharistic celebration was 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗠𝗦𝗖.

More than a school activity, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist reminds us to pause from our daily routines, give thanks for the blessings we have received, and seek God’s continued guidance as we fulfill our roles as learners, educators, and members of the community.

May this celebration strengthen our faith, deepen our unity, and inspire every Taftian to live with 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 to others.

𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✨

𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴 means to come together, to unite, and to gather as one.

And that is exactly what 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 was all about.

It was more than an induction and acquaintance party. It was a celebration of the people who make 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 a community — learners, teachers, leaders, and friends coming together in one place, sharing one moment, and creating memories that will remain long after the music has stopped.

With the theme “𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲,” Panaghugpong reminded us that while people may come and go, new chapters may begin, and generations may change, the spirit of being a 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 continues.

We honored those who became part of our story, welcomed those who are beginning theirs, recognized new leaders who accepted the responsibility to serve, and celebrated the friendships and connections that make our school stronger.

Because in Taft NHS, we do not simply gather.

Taft National High School proudly recognizes 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗢𝗦 for representing the school in the 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🎨✨

Through his creativity, dedication, and willingness to take on the challenge, Prince Alan showcased the artistic talent and spirit of a true Taftian. Every opportunity to compete is also an opportunity to learn, grow, and further develop one’s craft.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to his coach, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗤. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗼, for her guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the competition.

The 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚), in partnership with the 𝗠𝗮𝘁-𝗜 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 and 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, extended donations to families affected by the recent fire incident in Barangay Taft.

The donations were personally brought to the 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗚𝘆𝗺, which currently serves as a temporary shelter for the displaced families.

More than the goods shared, this initiative carries a message of 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. It shows what young people can accomplish when they come together not only to lead, but also to serve communities in times of need.

To everyone who contributed, supported, and helped make this meaningful effort possible, our heartfelt gratitude. May this simple act of kindness bring comfort and strength to our affected brothers and sisters as they begin to recover and rebuild. 🙏💙

In response to the recent 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, which affected a number of our learners and their families, the 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗧𝗖𝗖), led by President 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠. 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮, initiated 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦.

Through the generosity of our 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀, donations were gathered and extended to the affected Taftian families as an expression of compassion, solidarity, and support during this difficult time.

This initiative reminds us that the strength of our school community is not only measured by what we achieve together, but also by how we 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱.

This afternoon, 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻, School Principal of 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, presided over a faculty meeting attended by the teaching and non-teaching personnel. The meeting covered 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, and 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
