All 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 are hereby informed that the schedule for the 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 is now available. Kindly check the posted schedule and attend your assigned session. You may choose between the morning or afternoon session based on your availability.

This session aims to develop skills in locating, evaluating, and using information effectively. It will also provide guidance on the proper use of the Library Integrated System (𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫) to help students efficiently search and access the required learning resources.

Attendance is mandatory as a prerequisite for signing of clearance and library borrowing privileges.

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 | Highlights from the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 for freshmen, transferee, and returnee students held on August 17, 2026, led by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝘼. 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙖, Circulation Librarian.

The orientation provided students with essential information about the library’s policies, guidelines, facilities, resources, and available services.

It also aimed to familiarize students with the proper use of library facilities, borrowing and circulation procedures, available print and electronic resources, and the various services designed to support their academic and research needs.

𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍

On August 14, 2026, the Library Committee Meeting was held to review and revise the Library Manual, with the aim of ensuring that its policies and provisions remain relevant, appropriate, and responsive to the evolving needs of the University community.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Rowena A. Plando, University President; Dr. Ronita E. Talingting, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Atty. Vanessa R. Compasivo-Geli; the College Deans; the Campus Directors; Librarians from the Main and External Campuses; and the University Student Council, led by Mr. Nathaniel Paul C. Creencia.

The successful revision of the Library Manual was achieved through the collective efforts, valuable insights, and active participation of all attendees. The Library sincerely appreciates their time, expertise, and significant contributions to the successful completion of this important undertaking.
