ARAL Program, pinalalakas ang kahandaan ng mga lider at tutor sa learning recovery

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng DepEd Caraga Regional Office ang Virtual Orientation and Training of Trainers para sa Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, na nilahukan ng mga ARAL Focal Person, School Head, Education Program Supervisor, Public Schools District Supervisor, at CID Chief mula sa mga Schools Division Office.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na maipabatid at mapag-isa ang mga alituntunin, estratehiya, at mekanismo sa pagpapatupad ng programa mula sa Regional Office hanggang sa mga paaralan.

Sa pamamagitan ng mas mahusay na paghahanda ng mga lider at pagsasanay sa mga tutor, higit na mapalalakas ang mga hakbang upang matugunan ang mga kakulangan sa pagbasa at matematika at matiyak na walang mag-aaral ang maiiwan sa pagkatuto.

Mula sa gabay ng rehiyon tungo sa konkretong pagkilos sa paaralan—sama-sama para sa pagbangon sa pagkatuto.

Regional Director Dr. Allan G. Farnazo, CESO III challenged Schools Division Office program owners to make monitoring and evaluation (M&E) more purposeful during the Capacity Building on Monitoring and Evaluation held on August 10–11, 2026 at Nickel Hall, RNEAP, DepEd Caraga Region.

Farnazo emphasized that school visits should put learners and teachers at the center, rather than the monitoring team. He shared that he visits schools to discover outstanding practices and people whom the region can proudly showcase.

More importantly, he urged program owners to look beyond routine compliance and seek stories of impact, stories that cannot be captured by simple monitoring alone.

He reminded participants not to conduct monitoring if it merely wastes time or makes the monitor the center of attention. Instead, M&E should be used as a tool for creating impact and focus, rather than attention and popularity.

His message underscored a simple yet powerful principle: monitoring should ultimately serve those who matter most, the learners and teachers.

Nakiisa ang mga Master Teacher at mga School Head ng Placer District sa isang masusing oryentasyon at talakayan hinggil sa ILAW Framework para sa pagbuo ng lesson plan noong Hulyo 31, 2026 sa Placer Central Elementary School. Ang gawain ay pinangunahan ni Dr. Adela Cabuga, Public Schools District Supervisor, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng kalidad ng pagtuturo at pagbibigay ng teknikal na suporta sa mga g**o.

Naging tagapagsalita sa oryentasyon si Dr. Randy P. Lamanilao, Education Program Supervisor ng Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS). Ipinaliwanag niya ang mahahalagang probisyon ng ILAW Framework, ang wastong pagdidisenyo at pagsusuri ng lesson plan, at ibinahagi ang mga epektibong estratehiya upang higit na mapadali ang pagbuo ng de-kalidad na banghay-aralin. Nagbigay rin siya ng mga praktikal na pamamaraan sa paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang katuwang sa paglikha ng AI-assisted lesson plans, alinsunod sa mga pamantayan ng DepEd.

Binigyang-diin sa talakayan ang mahalagang papel ng mga Master Teacher sa masusing pagsusuri ng mga lesson plan sa ilalim ng ILAW Framework, sapagkat sila ang pangunahing katuwang ng mga g**o sa pagpapahusay ng kanilang mga aralin.

Sa kabila ng kanilang abalang iskedyul, dumalo rin ang mga School Heads upang maging ganap na kabahagi sa implementasyon ng bagong balangkas. Layunin nitong matiyak na maipagkakaloob nila ang angkop na Technical Assistance sa mga g**o at maisulong ang de-kalidad, makabago, at pamantayang pagtuturo sa bawat paaralan ng distrito.
