STI is equally grateful for TESDA’s continued partnership in equipping learners with future-ready skills through initiatives like Artificial Intelligence (AI) course offerings.

'𝗬𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗸 𝗺𝗼. 😭

That urge to repeat a sound or phrase because it feels satisfying or comforting can be a 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺.

But where did the term come from? Vocal stim comes from 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜, short for 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧. The term is often used when talking about neurodivergent people because repetitive sounds, movements, or phrases can be a way to get sensory input, regulate emotions, or find comfort.

What sound or song have you been repeating over and over lately? Share it in the comments, STIers! 💙💛
