BUTUAN CITY | July 21, 2026 — The City of Surigao proudly emerged as one of the top-performing local government units in the Caraga Region after receiving three prestigious awards during the 2026 Joint Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF)-Caraga and Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors Region XIII (REGATA XIII) Midyear Conference held at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City.

To serve the public before the Holy Week break, the City Government of Surigao will operate fully on-site on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

• Half-Day Operations: All departments are open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM to cater to your transactions.
