As we celebrate the 48th Foundation Day of St. Jude Thaddeus Institute of Technology, we proudly honor nearly five decades of excellence, unity, and dedication. Our Criminology Interns from St. Jude Thaddeus Institute of Technology(SJTIT) recently completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) observation with the Aviation Security (AVSE) Group. ✈️

During their observation, the interns were given the opportunity to learn about the daily tasks and responsibilities of aviation security officers in maintaining safety, discipline, and peace within the airport. They witnessed how AVSE personnel ensure passenger security, prevent unlawful activities, and uphold public order in the aviation area.

Our Criminology interns from St. Jude Thaddeus Institute of Technology (SJTIT) recently completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, under the supervision of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Through their Program of Instruction (POI), the interns gained hands-on experience in the basic activities and duties of the BFP, including orientation in every section of the fire station. This immersive experience allowed them to understand the real-life responsibilities and challenges faced by our fire service personnel.

Criminology interns from St. Jude Thaddeus Institute of Technology, Group 3, are currently completing their On-the-Job Training at the 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙎𝘾𝙏𝙈𝙊).

During their placement, they are actively observing traffic operations, monitoring road safety initiatives, and familiarizing themselves with the protocols and responsibilities of traffic enforcers. This valuable training enhances their awareness of urban mobility management and prepares them for future roles in law enforcement and public safety.

Criminology interns from Group 1 are currently engaged in their On-the-Job Training at the 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙎𝘾𝙋𝙎). As part of their field exposure, they are closely observing the daily duties and responsibilities of police officers — both inside the station and out in the field. This experience provides them with valuable insight into the realities of law enforcement work, enhancing their understanding of policing, public safety, and community service.

We conducted a Fire Safety Inspection in coordination with 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗱 𝗦. 𝗢𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮 and a Fire Intern Group 2 from SJTIT Criminology.

The purpose of this activity was to provide a firsthand understanding of the qualifications, procedures, and standards involved in conducting fire safety inspections. This initiative supports our ongoing commitment to promoting safety and awareness within the institution.
