After months of rigorous screening, interviews, and careful deliberation, 47 outstanding students from 25 different schools across Surigao del Norte were nominated for this year’s recognition.

Each nominee brought a story of excellence, leadership, and dedication — making the selection process both inspiring and incredibly challenging.

But in the end, it all came down to 14 students who truly stood out among the rest.

SUCCESSFUL EVENT | TOSS 2026 FINAL INTERVIEW & TALENT PRESENTATION

The Final Interview and Talent Presentation for the The Outstanding Students of Surigao (TOSS) 2026 was successfully conducted today at the Sangguniang Panlungsod City Government of Surigao Chamber.

Our outstanding student candidates confidently showcased their leadership, intellect, and talents before the panel of evaluators, marking the final stage in recognizing the most exceptional students of Surigao.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed panelists Vanessa Dianne Dubduban, Dr. Evelyn R. Fetalvero, Raul Antonio Salido, Remuel M. Coles, and Police Colonel Warren E. Dablo ably represented by PMaj. Jucie Buico-Awayan for sharing their time and insights in evaluating this year’s candidates.

We also express our special thanks to Surigao City Vice Mayor Alfonso Casurra for allowing us to use the Sangguniang Panlungsod Chamber (Session Hall) and for his continued support to youth initiatives and leadership development. Our gratitude as well to Surigao City Mayor Paul Dumlao for his continued support to programs that uplift and empower the youth of Surigao.

ANNOUNCEMENT | TOP OUTSTANDING STUDENT OF SURIGAO 2026

The much-anticipated Final Interview and Talent Presentation for this year’s TOP OUTSTANDING STUDENT OF SURIGAO (TOSS) 2026 will take place on:

🗓 March 07, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (sharp)
📍 Sangguniang Panlungsod Chamber

This day marks the final stage of evaluation for our outstanding student candidates.

🔹 Program Flow:

1️⃣ Final Interview (First)
2️⃣ Talent Presentation

🎤 Final Interview Guidelines:

1. Each candidate will be given 10 minutes for the interview.

2. Candidates are required to wear their school uniform during the final interview.

🎭 Talent Presentation Guidelines:

1. Each candidate is given 3 minutes only due to the number of participants.

2. Candidates may bring necessary props (please keep setup simple and minimal).

3. Backup dancers or technical assistants are allowed, not exceeding seven (7) persons, due to limited venue space.

4. Candidates may bring up to two (2) family members only to witness the talent presentation, due to the limited space of the venue.
