𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga Region convenes key stakeholders for the Regional Startup Ecosystem Mapping, Maturity Assessment, Diagnostics, and Roadmapping Workshop on June 15-16, 2026 at Watergate Hotel Pavilion, Butuan City.

The two-day workshop gathers government agencies, LGUs, academe, incubators, and startup founders to assess the current state of Caraga’s startup ecosystem and develop a roadmap for its future growth.

Facilitated by Mr. Richard R. Day of Upgrade Innolab, Inc., the activity also aims to improve Caraga’s presence in the global innovation landscape through StartupBlink and support the development of a Startup Ecosystem Roadmap for endorsement to the Regional Development Council.

The activity is expected to produce a Startup Ecosystem Roadmap that will be endorsed to the Regional Development Council (RDC) through the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee (RRDIC), serving as a strategic guide for future startup ecosystem programs, policy recommendations, innovation investments, and collaborative initiatives in the region.

Through this initiative, DOST Caraga continues to strengthen the Caraga Regional Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (Caraga RISE) toward a more connected, inclusive, competitive, and innovation-driven future.
