• Minimize the use of makeup, lipstick, and lip tint during formation.
• Remove all earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and watches.
• Empty your pockets; any items found will be confiscated.
• Uniform must be tucked in.
• Nails must be trimmed properly.
• Hide your shoelaces inside your shoes.

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | 𝙎𝙉𝙎𝙐 𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝘾𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙐𝙎 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙎 𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙋 𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝙉𝘿 10𝙏𝙃 𝘽𝙇𝙊𝙊𝘿 𝘿𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙏𝙔

On August 15, 2026, the Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) Main Campus ROTC Unit rendered crowd control and peacekeeping during the NSTP Orientation for Academic Year 2026-2027, and conducted its enrollment for the First Semester (MS1), at the SNSU Main Campus Gymnasium. Simultaneously, the unit participated in the 10th Blood Donation Activity at the Campus’s Academic Hall. This exhibits its continued commitment to service, civic responsibility, and community welfare.

LTC ROMEL C DE LA CRUZ PA (RES), Commandant, thoroughly presented the ROTC component during the course orientation, emphasizing significant benefits in joining the said program. The orientation also introduced the other NSTP components—Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS)—highlighting the unique skills and opportunities each provides.

Following the orientation, students proceeded with the selection and enrollment of their preferred NSTP component, marking the beginning of their journey in national service.

Meanwhile, the 10th Blood Donation Activity that was conducted in connection with the 43rd RESCOM PA Founding Activity, was supported by personnels of the 1503rd Community Defense Center, led by LTC RODEL C BAYON GSC (MI) PA, Director, 1503CDC, together with TSg Marlouie C Bernalte (AGS) PA, members of Charlie Company, and active volunteers from Caraga Regional Hospital and the City Health Office. Together, these activities reflected the unit’s continuing commitment to developing responsible and service-oriented students while extending meaningful support to the community. Through education, leadership, and acts of compassion, the spirit of service continues to unite the university and its partners in serving the Filipino people.

Faithfully embodying the event's inspiring theme—"Empowering Learners Through Unity and Quality Education as We Navigate Our Future Together"—the cadet officers formally opened the day's festivities by executing a sharp, synchronized, and truly flawless Entrance of Colors, setting a solemn yet uplifting tone for the entire academic community.

Far beyond their primary ceremonial duties, the Advance ROTC Cadet Officers proactively took on crucial operational roles to ensure the safety, security, and convenience of everyone present. Strategically deployed across key areas of the campus, they managed heavy crowd movements, maintained order, and efficiently directed students to guarantee a seamless event flow. Their constant, reassuring presence, paired with disciplined coordination and calm composure, kept the high-capacity event running without a single disruption.

The cadets added an unmistakable layer of dignity, formality, and pride to this significant university milestone by interacting with incoming students, faculty, and visiting guests with the utmost courtesy, remarkable manners, and unwavering respect—all while steadfastly upholding time-honored military traditions. ROTC First Class Advance Cadet Officers of the Surigao del Norte State University Main Campus ROTC Unit have received their Philippine Army Subsistence Allowance.

In appreciation of the dedication, self-control, and service of Advance ROTC Cadet Officers, the Philippine Army provides an allowance of ₱350 per training day, totaling of ₱5,250 for fifteen (15) training days per semester.

The unit would like to thank COL JONATHAN P OBENA GSC (INF) PA, Group Commander of the 15th Regional Community Defense Group, LTC RODEL A BAYON GSC (MI) PA, Director of the 1503rd Community Defense Center,15th RCDG, RCPA, LTC ROMEL C DE LA CRUZ PA (RES), Commandant of the SNSU Main Campus ROTC Unit, and Cpl Kenneth Jumamil (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk, for their leadership and ongoing efforts in making it possible for the cadets to receive this support.

The SNSU Main ROTC Unit expresses its appreciation to the Philippine Army for its constant commitment to bolstering the ROTC Program and fostering cadet's growth in leadership, discipline, and to serve the nation.
