Mount Pangasugan in Baybay City, Leyte is so familiar to VSU alumni. It is a sight cherished by most. Long live mount Pangasugan!

Attention: ViSCA/ LSU/VSU alumni

Announcement:

1. All alumni IDs for batches 2013-2022 are ready for pick-up at the Alumni and Community Relations Office (ACRO).

2. Alumni from Batches 2020 and 2021 who graduated during the pandemic and did not complete their alumni membership form are requested to bring their payment receipt and a 2x2 photo to claim their alumni ID.

3. For alumni from batches 2013 and earlier, you may proceed to ACRO to request a replacement ID since unclaimed alumni IDs have, unfortunately, deteriorated and been disposed of. Please be informed that a replacement ID can be issued once a replacement fee of Php100 has been paid at the VSUAAI. Present your receipt at ACRO to claim your replacement ID.

JUST IN: Kenzo Braye Gerale, VSU Civil Engineering alumnus, lands at the third spot in the July 2023 Master Plumber Licensure Examination. Mr. Gerale garnered 86.60% on the said licensure examination.

The said licensure examination has a 44.00% passing rate with 2,247 out of 5,107 examinees passing the test.

This anniversary celebration is a chance to acknowledge and honor all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that has gone into making Visayas State University what it is today. We celebrate the accomplishments of our stakeholders, our partners, and our supporters, who have all played a vital role in our success.

But it's not just about looking back. This commemoration is also an opportunity to look forward and set new goals for the future. We're excited to build on our past achievements and continue to push the boundaries of what we can accomplish together toward our centennial year.

Are you ready to wear your running shoes and join us for a fun-filled day of exercise and community gathering? We are excited to invite you all to our upcoming Fun Run for a Cause event on April 22, 2023.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is perfect for you. We'll be running a scenic route from lower to upper campus.

This activity is spearheaded by the VSU Alumni Community Relations Office in partnership with the Institute of Human Kinetics in celebration of the 99th VSU Founding Anniversary.

The proceeds of this event will go to the community outreach program of VSU-ACRO.
