𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗧) gathered for the Departmental Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027 on July 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at SP 302–303, Saint Paul University Surigao – Main Campus.
The orientation highlighted the department's academic policies, including the grading system, retention policy, and laboratory rules and regulations. Students were also oriented on the expectations, opportunities, and academic standards that will guide them throughout the school year.
Dr. Karen T. Plaza, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, graced the event and warmly welcomed the CEIT students. In her message, she encouraged the students to pursue academic excellence, uphold professionalism, and strengthen collaboration among the Engineering, Information Technology, and Library and Information Science programs.
Subsequently, Mr. Prinz Victor Buico, PICE President, introduced the faculty lineup of the CEIT Department, recognizing the educators and staff who will guide and mentor the students throughout Academic Year 2026–2027.
Present during the event were Engr. Francis Cooper D. Camogao, Engr. Frenzh Joevornyl T. Abucayan, Engr. Nathanial D. Tui, Engr. Kristine Georgia Y. Po, Engr. Angelus Vincent P. Guilalas, Engr. France Mae D. Camogao, Engr. Ken Henrick M. Dedumo, Engr. Khen M. Malaque, and Dr. Mary Ann R. Pullos.
Meanwhile, the CEIT College Government Unit (CGU) extends its heartfelt gratitude to all students who actively participated in and attended the Departmental Orientation. As the new academic year begins, may this event serve as a strong foundation for a year of innovation, excellence, leadership, and academic success within the CEIT community.
