The TEENIGEAR Peer Support Group conducted the Peer Support Orientation cm Su***de Prevention Symposium, an activity that aimed to help learners better understand the purpose, functions, and role of peer support in the school community.

Through the orientation, participants learned more about TEENIGEAR and how peer supporters can listen, provide support, and help connect fellow learners to appropriate sources of assistance when needed.

The activity also brought learners together through a meaningful presentation of โ€œPag-ibig Tulad ng Batis,โ€ creating a moment of connection, joy, and unity among the participants. ๐ŸŽถ

The Su***de Prevention Symposium also provided learners with important knowledge about looking out for one another, responding with care, and seeking help from trusted adults and appropriate support services when someone may be going through a difficult time.

As TEENIGEAR, we continue to promote a school community where learners can listen to one another, understand each other, and extend support when it matters.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) held its 5th Regular Meeting on September 17, 2026, bringing together the council to discuss pending projects, plan their implementation, and develop new initiatives that respond to the needs and interests of the learners.

The meeting also featured the presentation of the 1st and 2nd Liquidation Reports by the Finance Committee, promoting transparency, accountability, and responsible management of the councilโ€™s resources.

On September 5, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Wilfredo D. Rafols Memorial National High School had the opportunity to participate in the Phase 1 Intergeneration Activity organized by the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) โ€“ Surigao Chapter through FPOP Kabataang SUG, held at the FPOP Clinic.

The activity brought together different generations for meaningful conversations on important issues affecting young people and the community, including Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (APP) Bill. ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ“š

More than simply sharing ideas, the activity allowed participants from different generations to listen, understand, and learn from one another. It reminded us that meaningful change begins when every generation is given a voice and a chance to be heard. ๐Ÿค

One of the highlights of the activity was the collaborative brainstorming of slogan, where participants worked together to express their hopes and messages for a more informed, empowered, and supportive community. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’ก

As the SSLG, we are grateful to have been part of this meaningful experience. We believe that through open dialogue, mutual understanding, and youth participation, we can help build a community where young people are informed, empowered, and supported.
