๐Ÿšซ Do not bring hazardous or dangerous items to school.
๐Ÿšซ Do not punch, hurt, or physically harm your classmates or fellow students.

Violence can leave more than physical pain. A classmate who gets hurt may feel afraid, embarrassed, helpless, anxious, or unsafe at school. Words and actions can leave emotional wounds that may last longer than the physical pain.

Instead of hurting others, choose respect, understanding, and kindness. If you are angry or facing a problem, talk to someone you trust and seek help.
Your classmate deserves to feel safe. Your actions matter

Bringing hazardous or dangerous items to school and punching, hurting, or physically harming classmates and fellow students is never acceptable. Instead of violence, choose understanding, respect, and communication.

Safety first!

No knives or hazardous materials without teacher approval.

Follow the rules and stay safe!

So if you're not okay today, be gentle with yourself. Take it one step at a time. Rest when you need to. Ask for support when it feels too heavy. Healing isn't a race, and progress doesn't have to look perfect.

Trust that this difficult season won't last forever. Brighter, lighter days will come. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Tayo ang Bantay Bata | Mental Health Awareness Advocacy ๐Ÿ’™

As part of our commitment to promoting students' well-being, School Guidance Office/CARE CENTER of MAT-I National, with the support of the Schools Principals, Maam Rufina M. Creencia and Sir Raxiey G. Adolfo together with the school guidance designate Maam Emgen L. Sadsad and with the assistance of the PEER Support Group; Precious Angeli D. Marte and Erian Hipolla Guiral, successfully conducted an Orientation on Guidance and Counseling Services, Mental Health Awareness, Self-Love, and Self-Care at the Science Laboratory. This advocacy aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, encourage self-love and self-care, and remind every learner that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Daghang salamat sa among mga guest speakers from SDO DepED Surigao City, Ms. Violah D. Lim ug Ms. Danna Daffodil D. Esaga, Guidance and Counseling Staff and Psychometricians, sa inyong oras, dedikasyon, and also to our emcee Sir. Dave Gonzales, ug sa atong sound system Sir. This quote reminds us that for our own peace of mind, we should stop trying to understand everything because not every situation has an answer, and instead, we should simply live, accept life as it comes, and learn from every experience๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿ’—

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ๐Ÿ“š ANTI-BULLYING AWARENESS | OSAEC & CSAEM ORIENTATION | DEPED ORDER NO. 006, S. 2026

The Mat-i National High School Peer Support Group successfully conducted a room-to-room awareness campaign with our Guidance Coordinator Maam Emgen Laid Sadsad to promote a safer, more respectful, and child-friendly learning environment.

The discussion focused on Anti-Bullying Awareness, the prevention of OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children) and CSAEM (Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials), and the importance of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, which strengthens child protection and ensures a safe and supportive school environment for every learner.

As part of the activity, students also participated in an Anti-Bullying Pledge, affirming their commitment to treat everyone with kindness and respect, reject all forms of bullying, promote responsible online behavior, and help create a safe and inclusive school community.

Through this campaign, students were encouraged to stand against bullying, practice kindness and respect, stay safe online, and immediately report any form of abuse, exploitation, or harmful behavior. Together, let us protect every child and build a school where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.

"Be a Buddy, Not a Bully. Speak Up. Stand Up. Protect Every Child."

Empathy is when we choose to understand instead of judge, to listen instead of interrupt, and to care enough to make someone feel less alone. It matters because a little understanding can build trust, ease pain, strengthen relationships, and create a kinder, more supportive community. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Take a look at this infographic to learn more about why empathy matters and how it shapes the way we connect, care, and respond to others. ๐ŸŒฟ

If the weight of failure visits you again, carry it as proof you tried.

It may feel heavy, but at least you stepped out of your comfort zone. Not everyone is brave enough to risk being disappointed.

You showed up, you tried, and that already says a lot about you.
