𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Libertad National High School (LINHS) concluded National School Safety Week with activities promoting 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, alongside the PDRRMO South Cotabato’s Search and Rescue Auxiliary Training.

𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼, Guidance Counselor III, stressed the importance of safety and mental health, while SSLG President 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗟. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗷𝗼 urged students to practice discipline and cooperation. School DRRM Coordinator 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹 emphasized that 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿.

The program featured a community dance and the School Safety Commitment Wall Signing. The training gathered 24 participants from seven municipalities, MDRRMOs, the PNP, and the BFP. During the activity, 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮 of the PAF 505th Search and Rescue Group explained his unit’s role in rescue operations.

Assistant Principal 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘀 urged the school community to 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.

In faith and fellowship, the school community gathered for a Holy Mass, offering prayers of gratitude, seeking guidance, and strengthening their faith in the Lord. The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of unity, humility, and compassion in everyday life.

Through this spiritual gathering, students, teachers, and personnel were encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and carry His teachings into their daily lives.

May this celebration continue to inspire the entire school community to walk in faith, live with purpose, and serve others with love. 🙏✨

In partnership with the Guidance and Counseling Office and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), let us make Wednesday, October 21, 2026, a day of hope, healing, and solidarity.

Wearing green is more than just wearing a color—it is a reminder that mental health matters, that breaking the stigma starts with us, and that no one has to face their struggles alone. 💚

Let us promote kindness, understanding, and support for one another. Together, we can create a school community where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.

𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

Libertad National High School (LINHS) joined community stakeholders in celebrating National School Safety Week on October 12–16, 2026, in line with DepEd Memorandum No. 006, s. 2026.

The celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony on October 12, led by Principal IV Stephen S. Salazar, together with local government officials, police and fire personnel, community representatives, and partner agencies. The program also featured the Pledge of the Whole Community for a Safer School and the signing of the School Safety Commitment Wall, demonstrating a shared commitment to a secure, inclusive, and peaceful learning environment for every learner.

Through collective action, LINHS and its community partners reaffirm their dedication to protecting learners and strengthening school safety.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) conducted a Classroom-Based Learner Development Session during Homeroom Guidance on October 12, 2026, for Grade 12 sections Engineering 1, Engineering 2, Pre-Med 1, Pre-Med 2, and Pre-Med 3.

The session featured the lesson “Digital Footprints and Real Impact," which aimed to raise students’ awareness of their digital footprints and the real-life consequences of their online activities. It emphasized the importance of responsible digital citizenship, mindful social media use, and understanding how online posts, comments, and interactions can affect themselves and others.

This initiative is part of the SSLG’s continuing efforts to promote meaningful learning experiences and encourage responsible online behavior among students.

The implementation will continue during Homeroom Guidance sessions until all grade levels have completed the Classroom-Based Learner Development Sessions.

𝗞𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗸𝗮?

A single question can really make the difference as mental health awareness starts with recognizing that we never truly know what someone is going through. Behind a smile or a sudden change in behavior may be 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀.

Sometimes, we become so caught up in our own lives that we fail to notice when someone is having a hard time. Awareness means learning to listen, checking in even when nothing seems wrong, and 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱.

We may not always know what to say or how to help but we can start by 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. 🫂
