HCCCI Student to Represent Surallah Private Schools Association in Ms. Municipal Meet 2026

Miss Trisha Dianne Cordero, a student of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) – Basic Education Department, will represent the Surallah Private Schools Association in the upcoming Ms. Municipal Meet 2026.

The selection took place during the screening held on August 7, 2026, at Notre Dame of Suralla, Inc., where Trisha ranked second among the female aspirants through her confidence, elegance, wit, and stage presence.

Following the results of the screening, it was later decided during the association’s meeting that the Surallah Private Schools Association would send two pairs of representatives to the Mr. and Ms. Municipal Meet 2026. This decision gives both the top-ranked and second-ranked representatives the opportunity to represent the private schools of Surallah on the municipal stage.

As a result, two pairs will represent the Surallah Private Schools Association—one pair from Allah Valley Academy (AVA) and one pair from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI).

Trisha will represent HCCCI alongside Rafael Luis Arguilla, who will compete as the HCCCI representative for Mr. Municipal Meet 2026. Together, they will carry the name of HCCCI and the Surallah Private Schools Association in the Mr. and Ms. Municipal Meet 2026, scheduled for August 21, 2026.

HCCCI Grade 12 Student to Represent Surallah Private Schools Association in Mr. Municipal Meet 2026

Rafael Luis Arguilla, a Grade 12 STEM student of Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) – Basic Education Department, was selected to represent the Surallah Private Schools Association in the upcoming Mr. Municipal Meet 2026.

The selection took place during the screening held on August 7, 2026, at Notre Dame of Surallah, Inc., where Rafael stood out among the male aspirants through his confidence, elegance, wit, and stage presence.

Rafael is also the reigning Mr. Sollenium 2025 of the HCCCI Basic Education Department. His selection marks another milestone in his pageant journey as he takes on the opportunity to represent HCCCI and the Surallah Private Schools Association on the municipal stage.

HCCCI Students Join Screening for Mr. and Ms. Municipal Meet 2026

Seven students from Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) – Basic Education Department participated in the screening for the Mr. and Ms. Municipal Meet 2026 as aspirants to represent the private schools of Surallah.

Composed of two male and five female students, the aspirants showcased their elegance, confidence, wit, and determination as they faced the screening panel and presented themselves as potential representatives of the private school sector.

The screening was held on August 7, 2026, at Notre Dame of Suralla, Inc., bringing together aspirants from participating schools in preparation for the upcoming Municipal Meet 2026.

The HCCCI Basic Education Department commends all seven students for their effort, courage, and confidence in taking on the challenge and proudly representing the institution.

The action intensified on Day 2 of Cluster Meet 2026 as student-athletes returned to the courts and playing fields with renewed energy and determination. Every whistle, rally, sprint, and shot reflected the competitive spirit of the participating schools, with each team giving its all in pursuit of victory and a place in the next stage of the competition.
Throughout the day, the games continued with focus and resilience, as athletes remained locked in on their goals despite unexpected challenges. Coaches guided their teams with strategy and encouragement, while spectators cheered every hard-earned point, save, and winning play. The day's competitions were filled with thrilling moments, inspiring performances, and displays of true sportsmanship that embodied the heart of the Cluster Meet.
With the championship race drawing closer, every match became more meaningful, every point more valuable, and every effort a testament to dedication and teamwork. As Day 2 came to a close, one thing became clear: the road to victory belongs to those who keep showing up, keep competing, and never stop giving their best.

The first day of Cluster Meet 2026 officially commenced on July 24 at Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) Basic Education Department, bringing together student-athletes, coaches, school leaders, and supporters from participating schools in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and unity. Guided by the theme, "Where Champions Rise: One Cluster, One Community, United in Sports, Inspired by Excellence," the opening day reflected the determination and resilience of every delegation.

Even as rain showers greeted the event, they did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the participants. Student-athletes competed with passion and discipline, demonstrating teamwork, perseverance, and respect in every game. Their unwavering commitment served as a reminder that true champions are not defined by favorable conditions but by the courage to rise above every challenge.

As the host school, HCCCI Basic Education Department proudly welcomed all participating schools and ensured a meaningful start to the three-day sporting event. HCCCI Strengthens Child Protection Through PNP and MSWDO Partnership

Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), through its Basic Education Department, conducted “Protecting Childhood, Shaping Tomorrow: Championing Child Protection, Anti-Bullying, and Child-Friendly Schools for Every Learner” on July 3, 2026, at the Campus 2 Lobby.

The child protection advocacy program brought together students, teachers, school leaders, and community partners to strengthen awareness on child protection, anti-bullying, online safety, mental health, reporting procedures, and available community support services.

The program emphasized the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment where learners are protected from abuse, bullying, exploitation, and other forms of harm. It also highlighted the shared responsibility of schools, families, law enforcement agencies, social welfare offices, and the wider community in safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of every child.

The morning session, Child Protection, Online Safety, and Juvenile Awareness, was facilitated by PCPL Sherelyn A. Baloyo of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Surallah Municipal Police Station. The discussion provided learners with important reminders on responsible digital citizenship, cyber safety, juvenile-related concerns, and practical ways to protect themselves from abuse, exploitation, and unsafe online behavior.

The afternoon session focused on Child Abuse Prevention, Mental Health Awareness, Healthy Coping Mechanisms, Reporting Procedures, and Community Support Services. It was facilitated by Rizalyn E. Napoles, RSW, Social Welfare Officer III, and Sophia Patrice B. Briñosa, RPm, Community Affairs Assistant II, from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

Their discussion underscored the importance of recognizing possible signs of abuse, seeking timely help, supporting children’s mental health, and utilizing available community services for protection and intervention. The resource persons also reminded participants that child protection requires vigilance, compassion, proper reporting, and coordinated action among schools and community agencies.

The activity supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by promoting mental health awareness and learner welfare; SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening safe and child-friendly learning environments; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by promoting child protection, reporting mechanisms, and institutional accountability; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering collaboration among the school, PNP, MSWDO, and the wider community.

Through “Protecting Childhood, Shaping Tomorrow,” HCCCI reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding learners and strengthening partnerships that promote child welfare, safety, dignity, and holistic development.

HCCCI Basic Education Department Supports LGU Surallah's Simultaneous Clean-Up Drive Against Dengue

In support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Surallah, through the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and in compliance with the RHU Surallah Department Memorandum No. 2026-003, the Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. – Basic Education Department actively participated in the Simultaneous Clean-Up Drive Against Dengue on June 30, 2026.

Led by the School Nurse, in collaboration with the Student Activity Office and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, the activity engaged Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students, classroom officers, faculty members, and staff in a united effort to promote a clean, safe, and dengue-free school environment.

Participants conducted clean-up activities in their respective classrooms and designated areas within the school campus, removing potential mosquito breeding sites, practicing proper waste disposal, and reinforcing the importance of environmental cleanliness in preventing the spread of dengue.

This collaborative initiative reflects the shared commitment of LGU Surallah and Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. to safeguarding the health and well-being of the community through active participation, environmental stewardship, and collective responsibility.
