Nutrition Month 2025 Culmination Program
Theme: “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”

Ladia Elementary School successfully concluded its Nutrition Month 2025 celebration with a vibrant culmination program centered on this year’s national theme:
“Food and Nutrition Security, Make it a Priority! Adequate Food is Our Right!”

The event emphasized the importance of accessible, affordable, and nutritious food for all—highlighting that food and nutrition security is not a luxury but a basic human right.

Under the leadership of our supportive School Head, Mrs. Guianida Daguit NidaNi Panditathe entire school community worked hand-in-hand to make this event both meaningful and impactful. Learners, parents, and teachers participated actively in a variety of engaging activities that promoted health awareness and unity.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated teachers, energetic students, supportive parents, and generous community stakeholders. Your collective effort and enthusiasm made this celebration a true success.

Let us continue working together in promoting nutrition awareness and ensuring food security for all—because every child deserves access to healthy food and a healthier future. 💚

To All Dear Parents: A Gentle but Urgent Reminder

Please understand this: the foundation of your child’s behavior, values, and character is not built within the four walls of a classroom, it is built within the walls of your own home.

Yes, schools play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners. Teachers pour their time, energy, and heart into educating children, guiding them not just academically but morally as well. But what we do at school is meant to supplement, not replace, the values and lessons that should begin at home.

Discipline begins the moment a child learns to walk, speak, and interact with the world. It begins with how we talk to them when they make a mistake, how we correct them when they misbehave, how we praise them when they do right. It is your voice, not the teacher’s, that first teaches them the difference between right and wrong.

Before a child learns to raise their hand in class, they should first learn to say “please” and “thank you” at home. Before they learn about teamwork during group activities, they should have learned about sharing with their siblings. Before they are taught respect for authority in school, they should have been taught how to respect their parents, their elders, and those who serve them every day.

We urge you to partner with us in this journey. Because the truth is: no matter how excellent a school is, no matter how dedicated the teachers are, no matter how many medals and diplomas are earned, if the heart of the child is not nurtured at home, the world will feel it.

Children mirror what they see. If they see love, patience, discipline, and integrity in the home, they will bring that into the world. But if they grow up in an environment of neglect, entitlement, disrespect, or indifference, they will carry that burden into every space they enter classrooms, workplaces, relationships, even their future families.

Let’s not raise children who only know how to pass exams. Let’s raise children who know how to say sorry, how to wait their turn, how to accept failure, how to respect others, how to be kind even when no one is watching.

And yes, we understand parenting is not easy. There are days when exhaustion wins, when patience runs thin, when the world seems too heavy. But in those moments, remember this: you are raising a future citizen, a future partner, a future leader, a future parent. Every word you speak, every action you model, every decision you make leaves a mark on the person your child will become.

So please, do your part. Let us work hand in hand, school and home, teacher and parent, knowledge and values. Let us build not just smart students, but good people.

Because in the end, it is not just grades that matter, it is grace. Not just academic excellence, but emotional intelligence. Not just knowledge, but wisdom. And that wisdom starts in your living room, your kitchen table, your everyday interactions.

Let’s plant the seeds of character now, so we may all harvest a better society tomorrow. 🌱💛
