In the wake of the recent earthquake, the safety and well-being of our learners remained our highest priority.

Immediately during and after the tremor, the quick response and coordination of the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Lebak and our dedicated Barangay Officials, led by Brgy. Captain Emilio Caspillo, were truly commendable. Together, they promptly assessed the situation and inspected the school premises to ensure the safety of both learners and school personnel.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dear teachers who remained calm, vigilant and guided the learners with care during the incident.

To our supportive parents, thank you for your cooperation and for immediately checking on and securing your children. Your partnership with the school is invaluable, especially during situations that require unity and preparedness.

Thank you everyone for standing with us and for making the safety of our children a shared responsibility.

In preparation for the opening of classes, the school welcomed the inspection team from the Bureau of Fire Protection headed by FINSP Cesar C. Benitez, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, to conduct a thorough assessment of the electrical wirings and facilities in the classrooms.

The inspection aimed to ensure that all classrooms are free from potential fire hazards and electrical risks, providing a safe and secure learning environment for learners, teachers, and school personnel. This proactive measure highlights the importance of safety and preparedness as the school gears up for another academic year.

Celeste Central Elementary School extends its sincere appreciation to the BFP inspection team for their commitment to promoting fire safety and helping safeguard the welfare of the school community.
