A father is what we call "haligi ng tahanan", the pillar of the home. They are the ones who work tirelessly, every single day, to provide for their family's needs and wants. Sometimes they skip meals. Sometimes they work way beyond their hours. But they never complain, because their family always comes first.
There are fathers who pack their bags and work abroad, far from the people they love the most, holding on to nothing but the hope that one day, they can give their family the peaceful and comfortable life they deserve.
There are fathers who stepped up and chose to love a child that wasn't biologically theirs because real fatherhood was never just about blood it's about the connection they built.
There are single dads who somehow manage to go to work and come home to be full-time parents, raising their kids with so much love and strength.
And there are fathers who always show up to school events, to bedtime conversations, to every little rant and story their child just needs someone to listen to.
All of them are different. All of them are remarkable.
A father's love is truly selfless and unconditional. They carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, show up even when they are exhausted, and still find a way to smile because just seeing their family happy makes it all worth it.
