°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
The student must be at least 17 years of age. That means you can be 30 or 40 and still apply as long as you're in great health. There are no specific height restrictions for pilots or Aircraft Engineers in airlines so aviation schools can accept pilots & aircraft engineers for training as long as they are physically able to reach the controls & most hard to reach areas in an aircraft.

2️⃣ EDUCATION BACKGROUND

The cadet must have completed at least grade 12 or its equivalents with a minimum 2.0 GPA. If you only have a grade 10 certificate, you must have completed other short courses and/or work experience to substantial this requirement. Whether you're a science or a social science major, anybody can become a pilot or an aircraft engineer as long as you have great analytical & awareness skills powered by a strong desire to be a successful aviator one day!

3️⃣ ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
The cadet must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. In fact, we have an essay section in our enrollment questionnaire to test your analytic skills.

The cadet must be in top physical & mental health conditions. We expect you to have good eye sight and don't have any major health issues that may hinder your aviation training.

5️⃣ CHARACTER REFERENCE
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗙𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦

APG International Aviation Academy is the leading aviation training school located in Subic Bay, Philippines. Since 1999, APG has trained & graduated well over 3,000 international pilots who are currently working in various airlines all over the world.

One of our core vision is to be the ultimate ONE-STOP-LOW-COST flight training solution for the Pacific Islands Regions with job opportunities at our institution at the end of their training.

In line with our vision, we recently opened our Pacific Islands Regional Office in Port Moresby in October-2025. But due to a huge interest, our Branch in Port Moresby is currently ONLY meeting up with students that have been screened & accepted (by our admission team via WhatsApp or Email Platforms) with their parents & sponsors.

We already have 2 Flight Instructors from Papua New Guinea (PNG) and 1 from Vanuatu whom have graduated from our institution and will be fully engaged with our institution in 2026 to train other local & international pilot students at our institution while building flight hours and gaining valuable experience.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

With our wealth of experience, we train our pilot students from Private pilot (PPL) to Instrument Rating (IR) and then to Commercial Pilot (CPL-SEL). The graduates will then have the option to either complete the CPL program with a Multi-Engine (ME) rating and/or get an additional Flight Instructor (FI) rating like some have done to build flight time at our institution while gaining invaluable experience. With that kind of pathway and experience, our graduates will be able to meet most entry requirements for airlines and aviation companies across the globe.

𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗣𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘

APG understands that alot of students want to pursue their dreams to become a Commercial Pilot but they're faced with alot of questions & uncertainties on how best to jump-start the CPL program AND at affordable rates but perhaps one course at a time.

This is why we're now recommending our pilot students to take up only PPL Course and we will customize your payment plan at an affordable rate & you can pay in installments. Once you complete your PPL Course in about 5-7 months, you can raise more funds to continue your CPL Course, IR Course & Multi-Engine Rating or FI Course when you secure your next funds respectively.

Therefore, to go from zero to a complete Multi-Engine rated Commercial Pilot, you can start your pilot training by taking up your Private Pilot (PPL) Course with our March-2026 intakes!

Get yourself enrolled early at a discounted rate for the March-2026 intake. Hurry now since we have a limited space for our PPL course!

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗦 & 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗦.

2025 PILOT & AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DEMAND OUTLOOK.

The primary demands are a significant shortage of new pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians due to robust air travel growth and large-scale retirements. To meet this, the aviation industry needs hundreds of thousands of new professionals to be trained over the next decade, with a critical need to replace retiring workers. This has led to increased competition for talent and a greater focus on training and recruitment initiatives across the industry, according to reports from Boeing and CAE.

PILOT DEMANDS

SHORTAGE: A projected need for hundreds of thousands of new commercial and business pilots over the next decade, driven by increased demand for air travel and a wave of retirements.
REQUIREMENTS: A significant portion of the current pilot workforce is nearing the mandatory retirement age, creating a gap that must be filled.
TRAINING: The industry is actively working on training solutions, including creating flight schools, to meet the high demand and ensure enough qualified personnel are available to fly planes.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DEMANDS

STORTAGE: Similar to pilots, there is a critical shortage of aircraft maintenance technicians, with forecasts showing a need for hundreds of thousands to support the growing and aging fleet.
REQUIREMENTS: A substantial number of technicians are expected to retire in the coming years, intensifying the demand for new talent.
SAFETY FOCUS: Due to the high stakes involved, the industry emphasizes the importance of well-trained technicians to ensure safety and efficiency, with recent events highlighting concerns about maintenance standards.
INDUSTRY SUPPORT: Companies and maintenance schools are focused on training the next generation of technicians to address the shortage and keep aircraft in the air.

INDUSTRY RESPONSE

INCREASED PAY: Airlines and maintenance facilities are increasing pay to attract and retain talent.
TRAINING PROGRAMS: There is a greater emphasis on creating and expanding training programs to prepare the next generation of aviation professionals.
REQUIRMENT: The industry is actively promoting aviation careers to inspire young people to consider the field as a viable and rewarding career choice.

QUICK SUMMARY

Boeing 2025 Pilot and Technician Outlook forecasts a need for nearly 2.4 million personnel over the next 20 years, including:

✅ 660,000 pilots
